Informal Dream Sharing Experiment Participants
12/18/11 12:40 PM

Hello fellow dreamers. I've been on this site for a good long time, but have been recording dreams quite a long time prior to posting them here, and I would like to expand my dream experience. I was hoping to find some other folks here who would like to attempt some dream sharing experiments. It will be pretty informal, and in this case we'll just have to trust one another not to contaminate the experiment. I don't know how it will work at first, but I think we can work out the kinks as we go along.

I thought for the first few experiemnts we can do a sender/receiver type experiment, where someone will attempt to send an image to the other dreamer. For example, the target image could be a dinosaur, and the sender will attempt to implant that image in to the reciever's dream. Next day we compare notes.

Other experiments would be just to intend to share a dream and try to make contact with one another.

Anyone interested can respond.

Sounds interesting, though I have to admit I'm not having much luck with the lucidity. It's probably going to be hard to do as I might be awake here when you are going to bed! For example, my most productive dream time is 5-7am GMT which is going to work out to Midnight to 2am New York. A dinosaur you say? I'll give it a go!

Yes, I have considered that. I had been involved in another shared dreaming experiment where pretty much everyone except for one person was in my time zone, everyoe else was in another location entirely, but it still had very interesting results, which is still inexplicable to me. I need to find out if I have permission to post the results of that experiment here in DJ or if I can provide a link. In the end, it did not seem to be an issue as counter intiutive as that sounds. I guess in dream world there's a "hold message" feature or some junk. I wonder if I can send a message while completely awake and someone else is asleep. I wonder if that's been tried before.
