I've slept-walked as long as I can remember.

I always do random things. And I never know about it unless someone is awake. Once, I walked into the room where my snake was and just stood there, looking at it. Then my friend came in and told me to go back to bed. During the summer, I turned off my alarm EVERY SINGLE DAY while I was sleeping, because I woke up at around noon while it was set for 9, and it wasn't going off. I don't know how many other things I do, since there's no one to tell me really. The only person that lives with me is my dad, and he's the hardest sleeper ever. Will I ever grow out of this? Am I going to do more things while I sleep as I get older? I'm afraid that I might start acting out my dreams. I don't want that to happen, because my dreams are always so weird.. I'm 14, by the way.

Well, sleep walking is one among various sleep disorders that is common in children and teenagers. It is not something you need to be serious about as with age it will disappear automatically.

I dunno about you growing out of it.. I am 24 and I still sleep walk. I have for as long as I can remember too. I've never acted out a dream though. I live with thwo other people and they said its like Im awake and on a mission, but Im actually asleep. My psych teacher said that your body usually just goes through normal routines so I wouldn't worry too much about the whole acting out dreams bit. I just suggest not sleeping in the buff, cause that might get a bit awkward!
