Fuck! What about my dinner? - 1020

Wednesday, July 20 2005

I've just come from school with a friend, a mix between Mark and Jorge. He goes to enter into a deli -- at first I decide to skip it and head back, so as not to be late -- my class begins at fifteen after -- but I figure I've got at least fifteen minutes, so no problem. My friend asks for something like Matza. I've got no idea about Jewish foods, I think. The lady grabs a huge loaf of something, the size of a computer monitor, but a bit longer. The end is wrapped with cellophane. My friend a

Girl in Yellow Body-Suit on Asteroid *LUCID* - 0645

Lucidity
Lucid Intent

Tuesday, July 19 2005

I've just become lucid, and am indoors somewhere. In front of me is a sliding glass door, so I decide to pass through it. I get a little bit of mental feedback as I pass through -- things shimmer a bit -- but that it is clear seems to make the task easier, and I come out on the other side. There's a decent amount of greenery -- like palm leaves and jacaranda flowers. Soon I'm shooting through the sky, which seems to be full of little asteroids and such, which gives it a mild outerspace fe

Beachside Hotel's Algae Table *LUCID* - 0900

Lucidity
Lucid Intent

Sunday, July 17 2005

I'm lucid at this point, and have begun soaring through the sky. There's a gorgeous ocean under a clear sky, a few hours from sunset. Under me is a clean, concrete patio of some nice beachside hotel, with plants and a pool, followed by a red clay-colored wall, which drops off about fifteen feet into the ocean. I swoop down and am eager to examine something. I survey the scene in general, and am impressed with the detail. I note different small things that catch my eye, like a few CD cases

The Second Coming - 0700

Thursday, July 7 2005

I had been inside, trying to find a functioning clocker to clock out of work. As part of some sort of big Albertsons deal, there's a function going on on top the roof of a building. There are a few bigwigs standing around. The wind has started to pick up a whole lot so that it's pushing me. I get down on my hands and knees or belly as I creep near the edge, not wanting to fall off. Seems that a storm is picking up. From the edge of the roof, I watch as it brews. Fascination, awe are the only

High-Tech Flying Gloves - 1000

Thursday, July 7 2005

There was a showing, to some small group of rich college kids, of a newly developed pair of high-tech gloves. The off-white gloves were pretty bulky, being shown by the scientist who developed them -- but allowed users to use their hands to fly around with the jet propellers in them. There was a large, long ditch (50'x150') filled with water (the top of which was about 10' below the lip), using floating pool dividers for different lanes; at one end the ground was about six-to-ten feet highe

Holding a Latino Down By His Neck - 1235

Lucidity
Lucid Intent

Thursday, June 30 2005

I'm entering Washington, D.C. by bus. Passing along the freeway, I see a few trees with some red leaves, but the vast majority are still green and yellow. I figure that fall shows sooner here, so elsewhere there're probably no red leaves at all. The freeway turns to a number of corkscrews, with landscaping done in a very cartoony way. Some cars appear to be made out of plastic, and have goofy attributes like eyes. It feels like an attempt to make an enjoyable cartoon version out of a gray

We Could Never Survive This Landing - 0400

Lucidity
Lucid Intent

Monday, June 27 2005

I'm skydiving out of a plane, along with a group. An unknown black-haired girl is sharing my 'chute, and on the way down, we begin fooling around. Getting caught up in it all, I don't realize until much too late that I need to pull the cord to release my parachute. We're only about a hundred yards from the green ground that's rushing up on us. I say to myself -- and to her -- "In real life, we could never survive this landing," but with the understanding that this is not real life. The land

Barbeque at the Warrens' - 0800

Saturday, June 25 2005

I'm at a school/business function, and spot a box of donuts on a table to which, astonishingly, no one has paid noticed. Since they are free, I ask the responsible party whether I may have two sets of two, one glazed and one chocolate, so that I'll have one set for the road. I take my donuts and leave the function (much before anyone else). With my donuts in hand, I'm standing by Carlye Warren's fence, mostly hidden by vines on the fence and other foliage. Her dad comes out to talk to her

Bomb-Lobbing as Customer Service - 1201

Saturday, June 25 2005

It's evening or night, and I'm lying outside on a stone bench that folds up at ninety-degree angles at both ends. I'm fingering a girl, apparently Alana, but figure that this is both too public and too cold, so I head inside to get a blanket. At the point of decision, I'm alone. I head inside through glass doors a few feet to the side of the main (though less impressive) entrance. At the same time, the rival of some unknown girl has sent Richard, of Abertsons, a black guy with half-shut e

Skyline Deposits and The Big One - 0600

Thursday, June 23 2005

I'm riding a low skyline around a grassy area on the perimeter of a building. There are a number of boxes rising up to just below and to the side of the skyline box -- maybe electrical boxes. Regardless, I've been depositing my things, like books, on them for later retrieval. I occasionally exchange things from them, too. Tim, along with me, is annoyed by this, by my messiness. I look back and see that a lot of people have been following my lead and leaving items around. So, to make Tim hap
