A New Band that Sounds Like the Cars

Rating
Friday, August 18 2017

Morning of August 18, 2017. Friday.        I am in an unfamiliar and unknown location in a room with light-colored walls with somewhat of a yellow or caramel tone. The area is more open to my right as I seem to be in a smaller open room leading into the larger room, but there is minimal definition. (My dream self does not focus on the setting as being unfamiliar or unknown.) I am listening to a group of three young males playing music and singing.

The Wonderful Miniature House

Rating
Tuesday, July 25 2017

Morning of July 25, 2017. Tuesday.        I am in an unfamiliar room, though of which may be implied to be of our present home on W Street. There is a miniature two-storey mansion near one wall. Its appearance is unfamiliar. Still, I recognize this dollhouse as a known possession by way of a fictional backstory. It is big for a dollhouse, coming up to about the height of my waist when I am standing, though my viewpoint relevant to its size changes,

The King Street Musical

Rating
Sunday, July 16 2017

Morning of July 16, 2017. Sunday.        I am a younger age and seemingly living at the King Street boarding house or at least, oddly enough, producing a musical about the residence and the tenants (although I am not to be in the actual musical).        Leonard S, the friendly King Street pinhead, is present. He and everyone else are practicing their lines and vocabulary. At least one of the characters is from another planet but

Dropping the Snares

Rating
Wednesday, July 12 2017

Morning of July 12, 2017. Wednesday.        I am in an unusual abstract state but I am vaguely aware of a three-dimensional landscape below, as I fly, that mostly seems like a long valley in an unknown rural region. Somehow, I see this landscape as a wave format for music (of the spectrograph type).        I know that my task is to complete the wave "file" or "recording" by dropping a snare into each position

High Ceiling

Rating
Thursday, June 15 2017

Morning of June 15, 2017. Thursday.        I had been sleeping on my back with my wife Zsuzsanna in an unknown bedroom (though it seems to have the essence of Cubitis - if so, our heads are pointed south and the bed is near the southeast corner). She is on my left. It seems to be morning, as I can see all the details around me. Looking up, I see that the ceiling is at least three times higher than our real ceiling (though I do not make that distinc

Fighting with the Preconscious over Musical Discernment

Rating
Wednesday, June 14 2017

Morning of June 14, 2017. Wednesday.        I am in an unknown residence where there are a number of unfamiliar people, though most of them seem friendly and cheerful. I am working with mixing music (with a cassette deck) but using a commercial folk music recording and I end up playing the cassette in reverse (by the tape being reinserted into the cassette inside-out, though the dynamics are muddier than digital reversal).

Unusual “Music” From Beyond a Car Window

Rating
Sunday, June 4 2017

Morning of June 4, 2017. Sunday.        I am sitting in an unfamliar car on the left side. It may be morning. An old unknown male sits to my right. Curiously, there does not seem to be a steering wheel (at least to where I focus on one or remember any clearer detail).        I listen to some sort of unusual "music" that is seemingly coming from somewhere off to my left, outside of the car, perhaps in the distance. At t

A Disliked Song in a Field

Rating
Friday, May 19 2017

Morning of May 19, 2017. Friday.        I am with a group of unknown and unfamiliar people in an unfamiliar field. The time is uncertain, though it may be morning. They are perhaps in their twenties, though I seem young as well. There are no buildings or cars around. I am not sure what is going on. In the distance, over and from beyond a small hill (to my left), is heard some sort of unusual music, which first strikes me as tribal, though possibly

Curtains and Jerry Vale Records (and the "veil" of sleep?)

Rating
Thursday, April 27 2017

Morning of April 27, 2017. Thursday.        I had been shopping in an unfamiliar grocery store and eventually go to the checkout with three small food items. I think the price is about ten dollars, but I am not focused on the event. The unfamiliar young female cashier seems puzzled and says something like "two million dollars" (or another million dollar amount). I find that absurd and consider that her cash register had malfunctioned. I h

Warped Vinyl

Rating
Sunday, April 9 2017

Morning of April 9, 2017. Sunday.        I have a vinyl record with a song on one side of which is titled "Twelve O'clock Blues", possibly by R.L. Burnside. Even though the record is warped, it seems to play normally up until the last part.        I notice two extra sections near the center, which are supposedly two separate areas that the stylus needs to be placed on manually for each. At one point, both the recor
