An Ambiguous Green Book Cover (with a Dragon)

Rating
Monday, January 16 2012

Morning of January 16, 2012. Monday.        I find myself with a green hardcover book, presumably at our present address. Although I first assume it to be an edition of "The Thousand and One Nights" (possibly a dream sign due to the word "nights" and a book being a symbol of the conscious mind being transmuted within the dream state), this turns out to be incorrect.         It has an embossed dragon, in

People Puzzle Me

Rating
Tuesday, January 3 2012

Morning of January 3, 2012. Tuesday.        I am considering taking the bus home from the Bundaberg library (though this is not a feasible idea in reality) as I am seemingly too tired to walk much farther. As I walk I realize that the bus is almost ready to leave. I see the people looking out from the windows, but they are all (including the driver) actually each singular jigsaw puzzle pieces. This causes me to reflect that I will probably just wal

Washing Dishes in the Bathtub

Rating
Monday, January 2 2012

Morning of January 2, 2012. Monday.         I am washing dishes in the bathtub, seemingly in our present home though the bathtub is on the opposite side of the bathroom (south wall instead of north wall) though the room is not an exact mirror image as the sink is on the correct side in the correct area. (Dreams almost always render features in the wrong place but hardly ever in the same wrong place more than once, something I have always found f

A Possible Return of the Chameleon Creature

Morning of January 2, 2012. Monday.        I am seated in a chair with no coherent backstory though it seems to be in the house we presently live in (on W Street). After a short time, I get the impression that the arms of the chair are human arms. I have a vague recollection of the chameleon creature from "Boris Karloff Tales of Mystery" (as I seem to remember that there was a similar scene involving a chair the creature is disguised as)

Bush in the Doorway

Rating
Sunday, January 1 2012

Night of January 1, 2012. Sunday.        My family and I (as we are now) are seemingly living back on Barolin Street except that our house is at ground level at the front and with no apparent porch or steps. I had been outside for an undetermined reason (possibly to check the mail) and cannot close our front door due to a bush somehow now growing half-in and half-out on the right side (which is incorrect as the door opened on the left in reality),

The Joys and Unexpected Problems of Landscape Paintings

Rating
Sunday, January 1 2012

Morning of January 1, 2012. Sunday.         My wife Zsuzsanna and family as we are now are living back on Barolin Street. There seems to be an extra room between the lounge room and our bedroom and which has an additional adjacent hallway that is perpendicular to the real one.        An unknown older male (of perhaps sixty) has somehow wandered into our house though I do not see him as an imposer. He comments on our landscape

Frayed Electrical Cord Silliness

Rating
Sunday, January 1 2012

Morning of January 1, 2012. Sunday.         My wife Zsuzsanna and our family as we are now are living back on Barolin Street except that the rooms are more spacious and with less furniture. There seems to be trouble with the electricity.         The lights go on and off in an odd random manner but not in a way that creates an eerie atmosphere. I seem to recall (false memory) that one electrical cord is frayed and thus like

Sunday, January 1 2012

Morning of January 1, 2012. Sunday.         Dreams typically produce nonsensical words and names, sometimes with correct or almost "correct" associations. The words are sometimes gibberish yet also sometimes based on pieces of real words. This is not quite the same aspect or trait as dreams assigning odd new meanings to existing words, though.         There is a (fictional) magazine which comes out for people w
