Airship crash and butchering gig

Rating
Saturday, March 25 2017

1. A sunny day on a shore where a vast desert meets the sea. An airship has been caught in a strong wind and is rapidly losing altitude. The balloon is squashed in a concave semi-circular shape, and the craft is going steeply downwards and is obviously going to crash. Jacques Paganel is the only person aboard; he isn’t panicking, just looking at the approaching ground with grim determination. I observe it as a disembodied presence flying/falling besides the airship.

Shifting shop, eco couple, porridge and antlers

Rating
Monday, March 6 2017

  1. I am in a peculiar shifting shop that changes every hour – first it’s a dance school and I lie on the floor, holding a half-eaten piece of bread in my hand, peeking under a bookshelf where a dancing caterpillar is teaching other blue caterpillars an upbeat dance, like samba. 1. A black car is sliding sideways on parallel ziplines; it’s attached by the wheels, upside down. I am guiding it along with one hand and, although I can barely reach it, it slides easily. It’s a sunny summer say and we’re in a quiet town, but as I keep most of my attention on the car, I don’t notice much else. A green car is in my way, but I march right over its bonnet. For a moment I see myself from the point of view of the green car’s owner who has heard the

Flooded hotel

Rating
Tuesday, February 14 2017

It’s night, most of the land is flooded. The black raging sea and distant mountains are visible for a moment when the lightning strikes. There is a hotel on what used to be the beach, but now only top few storeys are out of the water. I had been cowering on the roof for a while with someone else’s newborn baby and an unfamiliar man named Al. The baby is crying and we decide to get back into the building to find food and somewhere dry to sleep as the water doesn’t seem to be

Murals

Rating
Sunday, August 21 2016

We were on a tram with Ivy and she kept telling me she wants apples. I gave her apples multiple times and she kept spilling them. We got off at 109 crossing and saw Neil Gaiman throwing wet cement at the facade of a house to make it look like a cave. The entrance looked dismal, but past the antechamber there was a huge hall flooded with blue light and painted everywhere with Dia de los Muertos murals - on the walls, columns and even the floor. The murals were in blue, brown and white, and I
