Alien gardens and cosplay tots

Sunny summer day, Hometown. Again, I know that the Earth has been invaded by vegan aliens, although I don’t see them. I’m walking down the Tuck street with an unfamiliar blonde woman who seems strangely clueless to me. The street is actually not there anymore – all streets seem to be converted to vegetable gardens as far as I can see. The paths on both sides of the street are planted with grass, but I can see that the concrete edges are still there and they don’t look old

Alien food factory

Monday, June 5 2017

Earth had been invaded by aliens who were after our food. We were enslaved to work in food production for them. Lucky for humans, their jaws were too weak and they couldn’t eat meat or they would’ve eaten us. The aliens looked like eight feet tall skinned and partially gutted upright-walking lizards; they were creepy, but I mostly felt sorry for them as one explained to me that theirs is a highly capitalist political structure where everything is for sale, body parts included and tha

  3. The dream starts at the North Market in Hometown, although I have the dream knowledge that I’m currently backpacking through Asia. It’s nigh-time, the streets are empty. I’m just crossing the road when an average-looking guy catches up with me and offers to show me around; I have a distinct thought that he looks like Moby. On the other side of the road there is a steep sandy slope, barely illuminated by the light of the streetlights seeping through the roadside

4. About a hundred people had been transferred to a new planet and accommodated in a small, well-stocked town. Nobody asked us, we just woke up there suddenly. The town didn’t seem like anything special at first, and we were exploring it and looking for a way out, but couldn’t find any as there was sea on one side and steep cliffside on the other. In the distance more steep mountains were visible. The whole landscape was light blue – the sky, the sea, the mountains, while t

Mizu-something

There was a portal under a bridge that connected Capital to Kazakhstan. I travelled it three times with Laura. The first trip I don’t remember that well, but it had something to do with Dwayne Johnson eating pancakes. The second time we went looking for a wedding dress for Laura and in a little boutique bought a long pearly-pink silk dress that she liked. The third time we stayed in a two-storey hotel in a room with two beds and no other furniture. I went to sleep, but when I awoke, th

Feeding tapirs

Rating
Thursday, May 11 2017

Twilight. Lee and I are in an unknown outdoor location, seemingly under a bridge, but there is no river. There is, however, an enclosure made of rough uneven boards that holds two cow-sized tapirs. They’re both brown with white spots. There’s also a huge pallet box full of lettuce and we feed whole heads of lettuce to the tapirs. Lee and I keep glancing at each other seductively and about halfway through the feeding have to stop to kiss. I touch him teasingly through the clot

Inventor of egg tree

1. Wartime, probably 1940s. A young woman was being investigated for some petty crime she might have committed against her husband. I cross-examined her case and discovered that her husband had ordered some people to spy on her. I also watched a recording of them meeting for the first time. Her husband was selling his invention in the marketplace – seedlings of a tree that grew eggs, which, as he advertised, ‘in size and nutritional value are similar to ostrich eggs’. At tha

   3. Unfamiliar setting reminiscent of amusement park, mostly dark. I’ve arrived there as a part of a group, but when the dream starts, I’m sitting alone in what looks like a ski lift that moves through the dark corridors. I decide to go into ‘a carwash for people’ and get my hair washed by a robot there. I dip my fingers into the blue shampoo that reminds me of the medicine in the previous dream, although it’s dark blue and makes my fingers transparen

Werewolf friend and vampire friend

Rating
Wednesday, May 3 2017

2. I have two friends who are enemies to each other. One is a werewolf who works as a gardener and lives with his family. He is always hungry, but bored of his mom’s cooking and waits eagerly for Saturdays when the family dine out.   The other friend is a vampire who is a shoemaker and lives with his coven. I have to ask the coven leader a permission to invite my friend to the theatre where we watch a play about people trapped in a drained swimming pool. After the play, he mak

Dragon fruit, giraffes and levitating gopniks

Rating
Wednesday, April 26 2017

1. I was working on the farm with Mila and Daniel, we were growing dragon fruit. The field was in the shadow of a huge oak tree, the fruits grew on plants that grew very close to each other and looked like a cross between pineapple plants and Christmas cacti. At a lunch break we sat leaning against the tree and ate thinly sliced dragon fruit which I found delicious. A supervisor approached and asked us something, but in the dream I still didn’t speak enough English to underst
