The conversations in these dreams were in Old Russian that I barely understood, and responded in modern Russian. 1. There was a big victory parade in a huge, red brick hall illuminated by wagon wheel chandeliers. I was a war slave, one among many, and we were expected to swear fealty to our new masters. Observing an amicable divorce from hairdresser's

Lestat is divorcing his wife and they are splitting up their property. They split up their pug too; he gets the front end and the wife - the rear end with kidneys visible through a membrane. They are walking both halfs in wintry Old Town, talking amicably. I observe them from my chair at hairdresser's.
