I was standing in front of a mirror and adjusting the leather straps on a garishly bright and ridiculously ornate yellow crinoline dress I was wearing.    I was having a complete new wardrobe made by a seamstress in Hometown, near Alley street. All the clothes were made of black or dark blue velvet, except for one lace tunic.
