Huge snake

Rating
Wednesday, March 29 2017

  3. Very cloudy late autumn afternoon. I was going to the Hometown train station, but saw a huge snake poke its head out from behind the train and look at me curiously for a moment. I turned back immediately as the snake was bigger than the train – huge, but weirdly short for its girth. I exited on a narrow Old Town street. Everything suddenly had a surreal quality – things appearing where they shouldn’t and people doing strange things. It looked like a reality show

Xenomorph metamorphosis (Alternate POV)

Rating
Sunday, March 26 2017

  4. First I watched this as a movie. Two xenomorphs arrived on a space ship from a planet and killed everyone aboard, not in a very gory manner though. Then I watched it again and the movie changed – it was revealed that these xenomorphs used to be humans and one of them, who used to be a young ginger guy, had a change of heart and let one person escape to a planet. From his point of view I saw that it was a young woman with short undercut hair in various shades of light blue, dre

Rain and the perv

Rating
Friday, March 3 2017

3. Gran’s house at night. Me and Kiddo are getting ready to go outside in the heavy rain to help somebody. She looks doubtful, but I tell her how much fun this is going to be, with exaggerated enthusiasm in my voice, and she believes me. All her rain gear is green.   4. Night, still raining. Me and Kiddo are looking for a place to spend the night and find a shabby-looking hotel. The receptionist is my creepy neighbour K; he gives me the keys to the room and a flash drive with &

Runaway bride

Rating
Monday, February 13 2017

The whole dream was a Danny Boyle’s movie or rather the story that inspired it. It started with a wedding. I saw ‘myself’ in a mirror – a young, short, fragile-looking blonde quite like Kirsten Dunst, surrounded by friends, getting dressed for the ceremony. I wore a pink lace chemise and a very tight simple white silk wedding dress over it. Instead of the veil I had a white hat with pink flowers. I went to sit next to my fiancé at a long table in a rather dark

Godot

Monday, December 26 2016

I went travelling after a break-up. It was summer, the land was all meadows with golden grass. The road was just a faint pair of tire tracks. A guy on a motorbike stopped and offered me a lift; I accepted. While riding, I was watching a movie recorded with ink on a wax cilinder. The road was even and the ride smooth, which made it ideal for watching, although there wasn't a screen; I immersed myself in the story as if I lived it. The story was about a girl who turned all the shop window s

Normal vampire family (Alternating POV)

Rating
Friday, December 23 2016

A girl of about eighteen was hidden in a remote house by her vampire lover; she had a live-in doctor looking after her. The point of view (POV) was alternating between these three characters.  The middle-aged male doctor: The vampire is quite condescending while the girl isn't nearly as dim as he thinks. They live in a remote mansion in snowy countryside, with windows boarded over to make it look abandoned. However, somebody finds out that it is inhabited and we have to leave eve

Hannibal

Another movie dream. Eric Roberts as Hannibal Lecter reciting a Beckettian monologue on the benefits of plastic cutlery. It actually sounded like you could dance to it.

Movie "Gulya"

Rating
Saturday, July 25 2009

The whole dream was a movie, with beginning and end titles. It was about an opera singer Gulbeyaz (Gulya for short) who made a career despite her difficult childhood. Her mother was in a mental asylum because her husband, Gulya's step-father, had killed himself in an inventive manner and had framed her. I don't remember the details, but beheading and ice were involved. In the opening titles Gulya was on stage in an amazing yellow draped velvet dress, holding an armful of flowers
