Art vs hive mind

? Night-time, vast flat field. I was sitting on the grass with various craft materials strewn around me, trying to figure out how to weaponize Chinese lanterns. I made a few round lanterns out of embroidery hoops and white silk. The scene was illuminated by burning torches stuck in the ground in a wide circle around me and I picked one of those up to light my lanterns. They ascended about 30 feet and burned up completely. Then I made two square lanterns out of painters’ canvas on

There was a portal under a bridge that connected Capital to Kazakhstan. I travelled it three times with Laura. The first trip I don’t remember that well, but it had something to do with Dwayne Johnson eating pancakes. The second time we went looking for a wedding dress for Laura and in a little boutique bought a long pearly-pink silk dress that she liked. The third time we stayed in a two-storey hotel in a room with two beds and no other furniture. I went to sleep, but when I awoke, th

Inverted World

Two of my favourite YouTubers (Kreosan and Temnaya Faza) were exploring the Inverted World of the sort that Christopher Priest described – infinite planet in a finite universe. They were going into the Past, joking and laughing the whole way, unaware of the danger. In the evening, they settled for the night in the ruins of a gothic church. I observed their travels as a disembodied presence and noticed Kelly (Misfits) following them, intending to protect them. She was hiding in the shad

River runs through

2. A criminal (unfamiliar pale bald man in late 30s) had escaped from the prison. It was middle of Finnish winter and he was following a small stream through the snow-covered fields. There were two neat straight lines of pylons on either side of the stream and his way was illuminated by purple northern lights. The stream led him to a house that was abandoned for the winter, so he took refuge there and stayed until spring when he was finally apprehended. He wasn’t aggressive at all a

Just married

There was a long build-up and overcoming many difficulties leading up to me getting married. The first difficulty I remember was a jealous friend of mine (unfamiliar young woman) who kept interfering. We sat on a mossy hillside in a light pine forest, discussing her jealousy and sabotage attempts calmly. I forgave her and, after she promised not to do it again, I gave her a hug. Then my mother and I got lost in a huge underground mall where we went to have our hair and nails done. It too

Birthing tent

2. I was about to give birth and arrived in a huge white tent with Ricardo and unfamiliar midwife. There was a doctor waiting inside (unfamiliar man in late 40s). While I talked to him, the midwife stood behind my back and sort of poked at my sides with gloved hands; when she stepped away, her hands were soaked in blood up to wrists. Ricardo was sitting by a stream that ran through the tent. He looked sad and worried, and I sat next to him, gave him a hug, then smoothed his moustache wit

1. I’m running along a muddy road that’s covered in puddles, thinking that if I maintain enough speed, the water won’t stick to me. The road goes on and on until it ends in what first looks like a cliff, but when I look around I discover that it’s a huge classical building that stands in a lake. The roof is flat and covered in mud, and blends into the clifftop landscape. I look down –on the shore of the lake a man stands alone. I know he owes me 50,000 shekel

Early spring. Abby and Jamie were in danger and Goodwin had to save them. The danger involved a bomb, a flood in a river and peanut poison in a yet unspecified form. The dream started in Summerhouse where I was with Goodwin who was thinking what weapons to take. I had quite an arsenal, but he took nothing and went to where the girls were through a portal in the loom room. I didn’t follow him, but saw the next part as a disembodied presence. Goodwin arrived at a roadside cross t

3. Michael is marching in a straight line across the fields through the blizzard, strumming a small guitar and singing in a hoarse, raspy voice. He is wearing warpaint and an unbuttoned brown shearling coat. I cannot make sense of what he sings, it’s like a really bad death metal growl; however, the sound of both his voice and guitar stays the same volume even when he falls face first in a snowbank and then crosses a river walking underwater. He walks past a lean-to where two boys in their

3. Gran’s house, but distorted. I am getting ready to sleep on an extensible armchair and am looking for someplace to hide a handful of gemstones, probably amber. I hide them in a cup of lentils and put the cup under my pillow. I sleep, it is cold. In the morning my gran wakes me up saying: “Happy Princess day!”, and gives me a hollow chocolate egg, big as a rugby ball. It has numbers 10 and 20 stamped all over it. I get the cup from under my pillow and hear a message in my
