A cult in eerie jungle vault

Rating
Tuesday, April 11 2017

The whole dream had a weird “Dear Diary” sort of voiceover. There is a tribe on the shore of the ocean bay, living in a village that’s built on stilts over the water, surrounded by a dense jungle. A part of the population belongs to a secret cult that is guarding ancient knowledge. I’m determined to become a member of the cult and at the moment the dream begins, I’m on my way to initiation. At the entrance of the bay there is a huge natural gray marble a

Dolphin fungal fertilizer

  1. Summer evening, might be near Leven. I’m on the bus with Kiddo when the driver suddenly stops and insists we need to get off the bus and talk to his friend. We get off and the bus leaves. The driver’s friend is standing outside a little shop, illuminated by the lights of its windows. He is dressed in a uniform, but I cannot yet distinguish whether he’s a pilot or a ship’s captain. He has several bags on the ground around him and a small dead dolphin. I decide

Saving the little fish

Rating
Saturday, October 15 2016

I had a goldfish in a water-filled plastic bag and wanted to set it free; however, I was on a planet that had no water on the surface; it was all dark purple sand. There were other people looking for water with me. I started digging a well and at some point the dry, loose sand gave way to hard-packed moist dirt. The other people lowered a rope down that I tied around my waist. I dug through the last layer of the soil and hung in the air above the subterranean ocean, where I could finall

Desert

Rating
Monday, August 29 2016

I'm running in a desert having climbed down the side of a canyon. The landscape is burned orange sand strewn with rocks and rusted pylons as far as I can see. I get to a road that's full of abandoned cars and walk for a while. Then I hear a noise and hide in a dusty hole by the wayside that contains a few dried-up corpses. A man comes along the road, banging on a round piece of metal and shouting that "The gunter-boats are coming!".

Beach/Bleach

Rating

After fighting off home invaders (using crochet hooks) and lowering Kiddo out of the window on a rope, I rest on a bank of a small river. The water is clear and the sand at the bottom of the stream is pearly white. The atmosphere is one of total peace and serenity, and I sit on the riverbank for what feels like hours. I notice Lee approaching from the left and get up to greet him. I reach to hug him, but he just holds my hands in his, avoids my gaze and says that the sto

Giant sandbox

Rating
Monday, April 10 1989

It’s a sunny day. I’m in a sand quarry, but perceive it as a giant sandbox. I’m building a sandcastle with a big mouse helping me. There are lots more mice flying about in hot air balloons or airships. ********************************************************************** The first dream I remember. The sandbox was probably inspired by the huge hole dug in front of our house for building another one. Rodents was a common theme in early childhood dreams. The dre
