Mizu-something

There was a portal under a bridge that connected Capital to Kazakhstan. I travelled it three times with Laura. The first trip I don’t remember that well, but it had something to do with Dwayne Johnson eating pancakes. The second time we went looking for a wedding dress for Laura and in a little boutique bought a long pearly-pink silk dress that she liked. The third time we stayed in a two-storey hotel in a room with two beds and no other furniture. I went to sleep, but when I awoke, th

Just married

Rating
Monday, May 8 2017

There was a long build-up and overcoming many difficulties leading up to me getting married. The first difficulty I remember was a jealous friend of mine (unfamiliar young woman) who kept interfering. We sat on a mossy hillside in a light pine forest, discussing her jealousy and sabotage attempts calmly. I forgave her and, after she promised not to do it again, I gave her a hug. Then my mother and I got lost in a huge underground mall where we went to have our hair and nails done. It too

Basement workshop

Rating
Sunday, March 26 2017

  3. I was working at a long wooden workbench in a basement room. I think my job was to do with carpentry or woodturning as there were curled wood shavings everywhere and it smelled strongly of pine resin. Every once in a while, I would go to the window the top of which was at my eye level and would look across the street at a huge clock face that was half underground same as my window. The clock hands were both stuck on 1 o’clock and never moved, although I hoped they would indica

Plane crash, parachutes and paper planes

  1. London, sunny early autumn day. The Millennium Bridge is lengthways in Thames and I am taking a stroll along it with my fiancé – an unfamiliar bodybuilder in a bowler hat. He doesn’t have a shirt on and I give him a hug to keep him warm, although he says he’s not cold. I joke that with him dressing like that we’d have to have a circus themed wedding. I don’t like how he looks in the dream, but I recognise and feel intense love towards his persona

To Purgatory and back

Summer, Hometown. I was visiting Maria where she was keeping goats off the Uni street; the room looked like the basement nightclub where I used to work. We were having some brightly coloured drinks and discussing whether to go on holiday to Spain or Scotland with our families. Our plans were disrupted when my classmate (unfamiliar) was murdered. I attended her funeral and, seeing that it’s held in the Catholic church, felt extremely frustrated that no one kne

Normal vampire family (Alternating POV)

Rating
Friday, December 23 2016

A girl of about eighteen was hidden in a remote house by her vampire lover; she had a live-in doctor looking after her. The point of view (POV) was alternating between these three characters.  The middle-aged male doctor: The vampire is quite condescending while the girl isn't nearly as dim as he thinks. They live in a remote mansion in snowy countryside, with windows boarded over to make it look abandoned. However, somebody finds out that it is inhabited and we have to leave eve

Saving the little fish

Saturday, October 15 2016

I had a goldfish in a water-filled plastic bag and wanted to set it free; however, I was on a planet that had no water on the surface; it was all dark purple sand. There were other people looking for water with me. I started digging a well and at some point the dry, loose sand gave way to hard-packed moist dirt. The other people lowered a rope down that I tied around my waist. I dug through the last layer of the soil and hung in the air above the subterranean ocean, where I could finall

Going home after a party

Rating
Wednesday, January 13 2016

I was at a party with lots of unfamiliar people in the basement nightclub where I used to work. It was almost totally dark on the dancefloor except for pink flashing lights. Afterwards some people stayed to clean up. A sixty-something man offered cupcakes to a young guy who looked offended, and pushed him and called him a perv. I went home down the wide avenue near the Central Hospital. My shoe came undone and I sat down on a low brick wall to fasten it. Both my shoes were made of twigs,

I’m kissing Lee and trying to figure out why he smells so amazing; his scent is sweet and has notes of chocolate, freshly baked bread and hazelnuts, sort of like Nutella toast. We’re in an underground tunnel, first alone, but then more people arrive. We’re waiting to go in attack on a building through the underground delivery train tracks. Lee says it’s going to be cold and borrows a black fleece jacket from someone and gives it to me. We get separated in the firs
