Homeless

Rating
Friday, December 30 2016

For some stupid thing that Vova did, we both got kicked out of the house and went to live in an abandoned cottage with some other young homeless people. We all had hard farm work to do all day, and I was knackered by the end of the first day. I had lost the tip of my left ring finger and had a prosthetic fingernail that got snagged everywhere. One of the girls said: "At least it doesn't bleed", but it was still very awkward. I cleaned one empty room and went for

Preparing for the piglet show

Rating
Wednesday, December 28 2016

I was standing in front of a mirror and adjusting the leather straps on a garishly bright and ridiculously ornate yellow crinoline dress I was wearing. I knew I had to prepare for presenting a TV show about pet piglets, but had absolutely no idea what to say. I left the silent empty house and crossed the farmyard to the shed. There were about a dozen black piglets sleeping in the straw. I picked one up, careful as not to wake it and walked in circles around the muddy farmyard, cradling the p

Godot

I went travelling after a break-up. It was summer, the land was all meadows with golden grass. The road was just a faint pair of tire tracks. A guy on a motorbike stopped and offered me a lift; I accepted. While riding, I was watching a movie recorded with ink on a wax cilinder. The road was even and the ride smooth, which made it ideal for watching, although there wasn't a screen; I immersed myself in the story as if I lived it. The story was about a girl who turned all the shop window s

Seamstress and cancer patients

Rating
Monday, December 26 2016

I was having a complete new wardrobe made by a seamstress in Hometown, near Alley street. All the clothes were made of black or dark blue velvet, except for one lace tunic. I couldn't find a hat I liked as all the models that the milliner showed me were extremely weird, like squashed and dented oversized baseball caps. On the way back from the seamstress I saw about a dozen people lying down near the Central Hospital. It had recently been raining and they were sleeping fi

Escape

Rating
Sunday, December 25 2016

I had been imprisoned in a huge windowless building filled with dirty green water to the ceiling; I was tied to the floor by the foot and left to drown, but got lucky as the foundation gave out. The building collapsed and I was carried out with the stream. In the dream I had a boyfriend and knew that he was imprisoned in a similar building. I ran through the town that looked a bit like those picturesque Mediterranean villages - white houses on a hillside. I found one that looked bi

Normal vampire family (Alternating POV)

Rating
Friday, December 23 2016

A girl of about eighteen was hidden in a remote house by her vampire lover; she had a live-in doctor looking after her. The point of view (POV) was alternating between these three characters.  The middle-aged male doctor: The vampire is quite condescending while the girl isn't nearly as dim as he thinks. They live in a remote mansion in snowy countryside, with windows boarded over to make it look abandoned. However, somebody finds out that it is inhabited and we have to leave eve

Amber forest and elevator to hell

Rating
Wednesday, December 21 2016

  1. A lot of people had gathered in a forest to look for a missing girl. I was sent on the quest of finding her first, although I knew that more people will be following later. I was walking through the forest and the terrain was gradually getting more and more weird – all in deep ravines, and the ground actually looked like it’s made of amber, fire and glass. The trees stood out black and green against it. Suddenly I noticed some of the blackness moving like a stream u

Escape from the torture boat

Rating
Saturday, December 17 2016

There was a ship in the ocean and the pirates were throwing captured people into the water and killing them when they tried to climb back aboard. There were lot of people in the water, splashing and screaming, and one of the pirates poured a canister of petrol on them and set fire to it. I got tied to a wheel with one other person; we were back-to-back and I never saw whether it was a man or a woman. The wheel wasn't heavy, at least it didn't feel like it when the pirates kicked it o

Spiritual teacher

Rating
Wednesday, December 14 2016

I found a Buddhist teacher that I was looking for; his house was on a quiet street that could have been in Hometown in November. The path and stairs to his house were made of wobbly stone slabs. The house itself was weird - on stilts, with a thatched roof and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass door. I knocked, he opened and we talked for a while about attention, distractions and not losing the sight of your goal. He sat on the floor inside the house and I tried to maintain my balance on the heap of

Mud flood

Rating
Tuesday, December 13 2016

I was standing at the open door of a log house, watching everything get flooded in mud. Streams of pitch-black mud flowed from left to right and there was nothing else in sight. Then a floating island with a willow growing on it floated up and parked itself in front of the house. It made me happy to see something green in all that blackness.
