Murals

Rating
Sunday, August 21 2016

We were on a tram with Ivy and she kept telling me she wants apples. I gave her apples multiple times and she kept spilling them. We got off at 109 crossing and saw Neil Gaiman throwing wet cement at the facade of a house to make it look like a cave. The entrance looked dismal, but past the antechamber there was a huge hall flooded with blue light and painted everywhere with Dia de los Muertos murals - on the walls, columns and even the floor. The murals were in blue, brown and white, and I

Fish Factory

Rating
Wednesday, August 17 2016

In a fish factory people were testing the fish for parasites, re-using the same microscope glass again and again; it was filthy with fish guts. The microscope stand was a live turtle head and people just rubbed the glass on its beak.

Dam devils

Rating
Sunday, August 14 2016

I jumped into a river to save some people from an upturned boat, but after getting them to safety, I got caught up in the current and carried to what looked like a waterfall. It was in fact the top of a dam with only thin trickles of water escaping over the edge and a long way to fall into a very small stream. However, next to the rim of the dam there was a bridge and a bit further a thermal pipe. There were a few Tasmanian devils swimming in the river that guided me to the portion of the da

Interdimensional travel

Rating
Friday, August 12 2016

The reality could be split in the shape of H to enter other dimensions. Tired of people and wary of protecting them I spliced a hair's breadth sliver of alternate reality on the edge of the top flap. The split was on the crossing of 18th street and Button street, looking west from Virgin Mary's church. My reality was wintry nighttime, very quiet and tranquil. I crossed a wide street covered with undisturbed snow, took an elevator to the top floor of a skyscraper, and entered a sp

Stargazing

Rating
Sunday, July 10 2016

I was sitting on the hood of an old-timey car and was looking at the stars. All the usual constellations were lined up from north to south and the rest of the sky was empty blackness. The car was parked in front of the local Co-operative, but in the dream it was a bookstore. I went in and found Lee there, and invited him to go stargazing with me. His hands were full of books and I held some while he paid for them. We went outside and discovered that all the constellations had turne

Thaïs

Rating
Sunday, June 26 2016

Thaïs had a safe house in Hometown where she was hiding from someone wishing her ill. I was one of her ladies in waiting. One day we went for a walk in the wintry hospital park and discovered that the laboratory in one of the hospitals was running experiments on robbing people of their feelings and conscience. They had developed chemicals in the form of white paste for this and a lab assistant gave Thaïs a necklace laced with it. Another lady in waiting took it for her and instantl

Lookalike

My mother had sent me a picture on Skype, saying that she found someone that looked exactly like me. The picture was of a chubby girl with orange hair, dressed in a loose gray jumper and jeans. She was sitting on the ground at some festival and looked depressed and lonely, and looked nothing like me. Then I looked her up on Youtube and there she was in a pale yellow ballgown, singing an aria about tigers in Russian. While watching, I was eating amazingly good raisin pastry; the taste&n

Monastery in winter and birds in the spring

Rating
Thursday, April 21 2016

I lived in a monastery with lots of other people - monks, nuns and ordinary folks too. Peter was there and we slept in separate beds, side by side, holding hands. The dormitory was huge, with two endless rows of beds. When all the noise died down at sleeptime, I went to him for a cuddle. In the morning Peter was gone; nobody knew where. To distract me from frantic searching, an elderly priest asked me to go for a walk with him to show me how the peasants survive the winter. There was so m

Boat ride (Alternating POV)

Rating
Tuesday, April 12 2016

I knew that an assassination was planned on a politician – first a sniper shot and then an explosion, but I didn’t know when. A friend of mine (unfamiliar) was his bodyguard and I shadowed them, determined to keep my friend out of trouble. Both of them stood in front of a tall gray building when I heard a faint shot. Seeing the red bullet hole in the politician’s light gray suit, I ran to cover my friend against the flying debris from the explosion I knew was going to follo

Fairy godfather

Rating
Tuesday, February 23 2016

Michael was my fairy godfather in the dream and gave me fifteen wishes. First I wished for a playhouse for Kiddo, which for some reason I imagined as a lighthouse in the dream. Then I wanted a playhouse for myself and he made me a white glass conservatory with a white baby grand piano. He played for me for a while, the music was beautiful, but a bit too upbeat for a magic moment like this. My third wish was a bridge to connect both structures and Michael built a white aque
