Living with Grandparents and Reading

Rating
Tuesday, July 25 2017

I'm living with my mother's parents. They have an unusual new setup where their home is several different rooms detatched from the main house. The living area and kitchen are in the largest portion, then one must walk outside to get to the bedrooms and bathrooms. My own room is furthest out, and I like the isolation.   At one point I'm lounging on my bed, reading a book. As I'm reading a man's voice is narrating along. One particular pa

Time Travel

I'm standing outside a relative's cabin in Mississippi. It's night, and I'm in the middle of the yard looking up at the sky. It's the stars I like best about being out here. Too much light pollution back home to see the beauty of them. After awhile I look out towards the edge of the clearing, into the woods,  and I wonder what was it all like before?      After a moment I remember that I could find out, if I wished to.  So

The Cashier

Rating
Sunday, June 26 2016

The Cashier   I'm at a cashier's station making a purchase. The item is inexpensive, perhaps $5 - $10 dollars. I hand a $20 to the cashier, a woman perhaps in her late 30s or early 40s, her straight blond hair pulled back into a long ponytail. She deposits the money in her register and gives me a handful of coins in exchange. There are a some quarters and dimes, as well as a few old, foreign coins I don't recognize. I keep my hand held out, waiting for the rest

Communicating

Friday, May 20 2016

I and my sister are on the back porch of our home. I've got in my hands a slim, 10inch black tablet. We're using it to decipher a message from what looks like a native African Tribal woman. It's a complex device; like a TV scanning for channels, the tablet screen flashes through images, clips, and text, with an occasional burst of static. In addition to this the woman is speaking telepathically to me, but her voice and the tablet are needed to comprehend her full me

Hooded Figure

Monday, March 28 2016

I’m walking around my [unfamiliar] house, doing some mundane household task, and feeling quite drowsy.  I hear a burst of static, and a scene flashes into my mind’s eye: The upper half of a black robed figure wearing a black, pointed hood (of the general shape the KKK is known for). It’s staring out at the viewer against a backdrop of black and white triangles. The eyes flash to the (viewer’s) left. Another loud burst of static, then the image is gone.

African Gods

Rating
Wednesday, January 27 2016

I was at a meeting that had just reached its conclusion.   As I passed out the door another was coming in and we greeted each other amicably. He was a large, African man with golden corkscrew curls crowning his head and dressed in what look like ancient African wartime garb, but more on the ceremonial side. He may have held a spear or a staff in his right hand. He smiled broadly and left.     As I walked away, I thought back to the meetin

Heavy Words

Thursday, December 10 2015

Heavy Words   A dream concept where the spoken word has a very real and physical impact on the person who is speaking. Words have weight, and some words weigh more than others.  It's not uncommon for a person to stop talking midsentence because a word is literally too heavy for him. There are not many who are strong enough to bear the weight of every word he wishes to say, so most are careful with how they speak.

Two People

Friday, December 4 2015

Two People   An elderly type woman, similar to Rose from The Golden Girls series, is talking to a man in a black suit. She asks him, “Are you God?” He says no, he’s just a guide, he enjoys helping people. “And you could be too,” he adds. “Moving through time and space, guiding and assisting. You’d enjoy it.” Still skeptical, she begins firing questions about her life to him, about things that went wrong or should have happened but di
