People seem to want my camera gear in Austin

Rating
Wednesday, September 6 2017

I was walking in Austin, though the city was much more built up than it is. There were several skyscrapers on the south side of the lake downtown. I crossed the Congress Avenue bridge heading south. I had my phone out and was taking video. I also had my camera bag with only my 5D in it. Some people from my youth (I don't know who exactly, but they were Navajo and familiar) approached me. They asked me about my camera. I was glad I put my telephoto lens and other gear in a locker. The lock

My brother and I visit Circuit of the Americas

Rating
Friday, April 21 2017

My brother and I were at Circuit of the Americas. We were walking the circuit. I needed to stop and charge my phone. I found some outlets and plugged it in. I couldn't get the cable in my phone correctly, and the battery-life percentage kept changing. It was in the 30s, then 50, and it kept bouncing around. I unplugged it and kept walking. Every time I saw an outlet, I plugged it in to see what would happen. We went inside a big white tent. I plugged my phone into an outlet there. My brot

F1 commentary

Rating
Sunday, February 26 2017

I was at an F1 race and walking around the grounds. It must have been Circuit of the Americas, but it wasn't familiar. I was listening to the race on my phone through headphones. I walked by an area with some metal tables set up. A few people were eating on them. I had half an ear of corn and was eating it. I heard the commentators talking about the various foods here, and they talked about someone eating corn. I realized they were talking about me. I looked around for them and spotted

Miss my flight; loud man at a show turns into chocolate

Rating
Saturday, November 26 2016

I was hanging out with Tim in his apartment in Austin. I had to go catch my flight. But there was some kind of a delay, so I had to stay another day. He called his ex-wife and said to prepare for me to stay another day, even though I knew he lived alone. I said I'd have to check to make sure my plane didn't leave. I went to what I thought was the airport but ended up being a performing arts center. I waited in a long line to buy a ticket. I saw my co-worker Maggie standing against a w

Bus won't take my money

Rating
Wednesday, March 9 2016

I was riding a bike in Austin. I was watching myself from above as I tried to navigate a series of bridges and crisscrossing roads. I think I was trying to get away from the interstate. I was on an onramp but kept making turns so I didn't get on the interstate. Then I was just north of the river and east of the interstate. The view was now normal, from my eyes. I was skateboarding on a sidewalk in the neighborhood. I had to get downtown to meet someone, so I decided to take the bus. Someo

Construction downtown and graduation fear

Rating
Monday, January 25 2016

I was walking in a city's downtown late in the afternoon. I was on a road that was surrounded by fences because of construction work. I don't know what city I was in; I want to say Austin, but the construction areas reminded me of Phoenix. I was stopped at a light. Ahead of me was a one-way street, but it ended there. A person I went to high school with, Jaime, was riding a bike. He drove right up to me and stopped before hitting me. I told him the one-way street ended at that interse

Racing a bus to Tim's house

Rating
Saturday, December 12 2015

I was at work but had to leave several hours early because Tim R. invited me to his house for a dinner party. Brittani, who worked with me three jobs ago, also was coming. We were taking separate vehicles even though we worked together here. We left work and went to a parking garage. Brittani got her to car first and left quickly. I got in mine and started it. It was parked right next to the exit. I turned right to the exit driveway. Three people were walking in the driveway. They could have

Driving through hilly Austin

Rating
Saturday, November 28 2015

I was in Austin, but it was different from the actual city. It was very hilly and had more trees. I was driving through downtown. I was on a four-lane one-way road heading toward the Capitol. I thought it was Guadalupe, but it was probably Jacinto. I knew the road would end at the Capitol, so I got in the correct lane to turn left. I turned and drove down a narrowing street. It went up a big hill and ended on a one-lane road that wound around a neighborhood. I parked at the top of the hill

Shooting zombies

Rating
Sunday, November 1 2015

Some friends and I were preparing to fight zombies. We were in Austin. I don't know who all was with me, but I do remember Daniel and Blaise. We grabbed machine guns. Mine had a small shotgun on the end. Hanging in a bag on the end was a flashlight.   We heard what sounded like firecrackers outside. Four pops. I realized that was gunfire. I thought it was a gang shooting, so we didn't have to worry.    We went outside. It was like a first-person-shooter video g

Outdoors with Joanna

Rating
Saturday, March 14 2015

I was at a national park with Joanna, whom I went on dates with a couple of years ago (when I lived I Florida). The park was like the Grand Canyon but also on the reservation.    It also was in Austin. We walked through a neighborhood in south Austin. People on bikes passed by. One came really close to the sidewalk. I wanted to say something about sticking to the road or watching where he was going, but I didn't.    We approached a cliff overlooking Austin. Th
