A dirt berm

Rating
Monday, April 17 2017

Anne, my brother and I were leaving a hotel to go to a restaurant. We left and got into Anne's SUV. I sat down and realized I didn't have my wallet. She said I didn't have to bother. I said all right but that I wouldn't be able to buy alcohol. Then I figured I didn't need alcohol. She pulled out backward. There was a high dirt berm to our left. There were tire tracks leading up one side. It looked almost vertical. Someone stepped in front of that track and said we shouldn&

Fishing with Meghan on a lake surrounded by cliffs

Rating
Thursday, March 17 2016

Meghan and I were fishing at a lake that had really high walls on the shore. There was around a 5-foot steep drop from the shore to the water. We climbed down a wall to fish. There was a big snapping turtle to our right. It was slowly crawling out of the water. Meghan picked up a stick. She wanted the turtle to bite the stick. I told her to be careful. The turtle's mouth sort of looked like a cross between a snapping turtle's and a duck's. It was flat but sharp. It bit the stick t

Fresh fish at a market

Rating
Monday, November 23 2015

My brother and I were walking in an unfamiliar place. We were outdoors. We walked through a large stone entryway. We were on a dirt walkway.    I was hungry. My brother told me there was a great Chinese food stand back through the entryway. We went to it. It was just an open-air stand. A man was cutting a large fish, possibly a shark. Most of the food was raw seafood.    The man said it was north Chinese seafood. He said no one was familiar with this cuisine. Unli

Wild horses

Rating
Wednesday, September 2 2015

I was at some kind of a fair with a former co-worker, Danielle. We walked on a dirt midway past some booths and stands. There were several wild horses walking in the midway. We walked past one, and it kicked at us. I pulled Danielle aside and said we should be more careful. Some of the horses turned toward me. Their ears were perked up. Then I was surrounded by horses. They formed a circle around me and faced me. I didn't know what to do. I knew I had to get away, but I didn't know

Little people in trouble

Rating
Wednesday, June 24 2015

I was in a small town that was fascinated when a little person moved in. He couldn't make friends other than me because they thought he was evil.    Eventually they turned on him and came after him. He hid in a building that had a dirt floor and no doors or windows (it had openings but no glass or a physical door). This was not his house.   There was another little person in town who didn't know about this. I told him to hide and not go to where the other perso

Tim Vines gets in a bad wreck

Rating
Tuesday, April 28 2015

Tim Vines and I were driving around Kayenta. He was driving a large white pickup. It was night. We drove up the hill on the highway, and he pointed out lots of changes in town. Several buildings had been painted bright colors, and many were lit up. I noticed a two-story house on the right that was in brilliant colors. It was so bright, I could easily see it at night without lights. I thought it looked better without the paint because it had the great look of an abandoned building. I was sitti

'Simpsons' references in my old house

Rating
Sunday, March 9 2014

I was in my old house in Kayenta with my friend Vince and a few other people. Vince was talking about baseball and the "Simpsons" episode "Homer at the Bat." My old bunk bed was in the living room, and I was sitting on the top bunk. Vince walked by saying something on the phone. He mentioned a haircut, and I said I had sideburns. I asked if I should cut them like Mr. Burns asks Mattingly. Vince didn't hear me. Then I realized that I already had trimmed my sideburns. I wondered if I should do th

Sign hunting

Rating
Sunday, January 17 2010

I was walking around Amarillo by myself looking for Stanley Marsh 3 signs. My watch had a GPS on it. I walked along a street to a cul-de-sac and took pictures of a sign. A couple of yards away was a very big dog. It looked mean, and it was barking and jumping on the fence. I didn't have my car with me, so I had nowhere to go if the dog ran after me. I was scared. There were some lawn chairs in a yard. I grabbed one, folded it and held it above my head to appear larger to the dog. I walked by th
