Etienne meets Tim's date

Rating
Monday, April 25 2016

I was with Etienne and we met a woman at the university. The woman was talking about Tim R. and how they'd been on a lot of dates. We thought this was strange. Somehow I already knew about this but didn't want Etienne to know. The woman left. Then Etienne and I were at her apartment. The woman showed up and invited herself in. She told us the story of how she met Tim several weeks back. She said they went on a date. She didn't know he was married. Etienne kept slapping my arm.

Crickett and Celina in a pool; cobra outside

Rating
Wednesday, October 28 2015

I was at an indoor swimming pool with two friends and some unfamiliar people. The friends were Crickett and Celina. They were in the water. I was standing on the edge looking in. There was a grate that extended about a foot over the water. Crickett swam under the grate. Some people were around the grate, so it was hard to see him. Celina stayed a few feet away and talked to a man. Crickett was upset. I asked if there was anything I could do to help, and he said no. I tried to coax him out

I get engaged

Rating
Saturday, September 20 2014

I was in a bedroom with my mom and my co-worker Katie. Katie and I were dating, and I had an elaborate plan set up to ask her to marry me. It involved a wooden box and white pipe cleaners. I'd open the box, and the pipe cleaners would spell "Will you marry me?" At the bottom of the message was the ring with a ribbon tied to it. I prepared and opened the box, but the letters were jumbled. So I took them out and spelled it on the floor. I was talking while doing this, trying to distract them. She

Professor Dumpster marries two men

Rating
Tuesday, September 16 2014

I was on the Huston-Tillotson University campus. I saw the dumpster and approached it. I knew this was the dumpster that Professor Dumpster lives in. He was inside and invited me in. I was wearing sandals, but he was OK with that. We talked a little bit. I told him I learned about him through my last job (I edited an article about him). We exited the dumpster and stood outside. Two men approached and asked if he could marry them. He said they were in luck because he's certified to marry homosex

Detour to a coffee shop

Rating
Tuesday, May 6 2014

I was driving to work, though it was in an unfamiliar neighborhood and to a job that isn't my current job. The road ahead was closed, so I turned left and took the next right. But the right turn was a dead end. I drove on a large, black speed bump and saw the "dead end" sign, so before I drove all the way over the bump, I reversed and drove back. I took the next street. I wanted to take the first right, but I figured that would lead to the closed road. I kept driving. Then I saw a coffee shop a

A mourning married couple

Rating
Monday, April 28 2014

A married couple was in a bar. They were mourning the anniversary of their son's death. The husband had a trombone. They sat there talking.  A man walked in with a trombone. He sat at a booth near them. He saw that the husband had a trombone and asked if they could jam. The husband said no.  A man walked in with another instrument (I think it was a snare drum, but I don't remember). They talked and then started to play. The trombone guy just played a loud, long note. It wa

I'm getting married; that's not my brother

Saturday, July 7 2007

I was with my mom and brother in some kind of store for couples who were getting married soon. A clerk walked up to me and handed me a clipboard with a questionnaire on it. I glanced at it and started filling it out. It had a list of questions you should ask yourself before you get married. I didn't completely understand what was going on, but I started filling it out anyway. My mom and brother stood there staring at me. They seemed disappointed. I looked up at them, and my brother didn't
