A man and girl argue at Cedar Point's boardwalk

Rating
Wednesday, August 30 2017

Jill and I were on the boardwalk in front of the hotels at Cedar Point. We sat on a bench talking. It was evening. An old man and a teenage girl were standing behind us. Jill left for something, and I stayed there. I was tired and spaced out. The man and girl were arguing. It sounded like they were arguing about sex. I ignored them. Jill showed up as they stopped arguing. The man apologized to me for being loud and handed me his card. I thanked him. Jill and I walked along the boardwalk towar

In line for Raptor; elephant ears

Rating
Sunday, August 27 2017

I was in line for Raptor at Cedar Point. The line was different from the actual line. It had a long, straight section next to the loop and zero-G roll, and it was in a field. The line was short, and I was hoping to get in a few rides. I got one ride and ran down the exit, which also was different. It had a queue, and I had to wind through to get out. There also were little gates with latches I had to undo to go through. I ran back to the entrance. I didn't have my counter so I had to reme

Driving to Cedar Point

Rating
Tuesday, July 4 2017

I was with my former Cedar Point co-worker Chris. We were driving on First Street in Sandusky. I said I was going to play some music from the park. I was driving an older pickup truck. I said he was in charge of the music because I was driving. I told him to press play on my phone. I told him to skip to anything he wanted. Instead of hitting skip on the phone, he hit skip on the radio. That didn't change the track, though, it changed the radio to a religious station. A preacher was talkin

I give Bill Nye directions

Rating
Monday, May 15 2017

I was in a school that was similar to my middle school. I stood outside a classroom to get something from a teacher. The door was closed, but the teacher was outside talking to another teacher. I didn't want to interrupt, so I waited. I think I needed 7 cents. Bill Nye walked up. He asked the teachers if they knew how to get to the Cleveland airport. I said I could do it. I got out my phone and pulled up a map. We were in downtown Sandusky. I said all he had to do was drive on the main ro

Cedar Point is open until 4:30 a.m.

Rating
Friday, April 28 2017

Meghan and I were at Cedar Point. It was almost 4 p.m., and I knew the park would be closing soon because it was early in the season. I looked around for a map and found one on the ground. I looked at the hours on the back and saw the park was closing at 4:30, so I knew we had to get on a ride. We went to Top Thrill Dragster and got in line. The wait wasn't long, but the park would be closed by the time we got off it. We got in the back seat. Meghan was nervous, but I told it was OK becau

A lake freighter sinks the weight room

Rating
Sunday, May 1 2016

I was in a weight room with two unfamiliar men. The room had a window that overlooked the docks in Sandusky. We were apparently above the Jackson Street Pier. One of the men was adding weights to a machine. The weights were blocks of varying weights, from 30 to 105 pounds. He asked for help setting them up. He picked up a large weight (it was maybe 3 feet long) and handed it to the other man. I was worried he'd drop it, but it was plastic and weighed only 30 pounds. He set it on the other

Moving a mummy for a professor

Rating
Monday, July 6 2015

I was in Sandusky, though I'm not sure how I knew that. I was inside a building that reminded me of the rec center at the Cedar Point Commons dorms, but it was bigger and different. It felt emptier. A professor handed me a box. Inside the box was a small mummy. She told me to take this to another professor at the top of a long staircase. She handed boxes to other people. I wanted to get to the top first, so I took the stairs two steps at a time. I passed one of the people who had a box.

New Millennium Force

I was at Cedar Point with my camera, my film SLR's 400mm lens and my tripod. I was standing near the west Sky Ride station and aiming at Top Thrill Dragster. I had the camera on manual because I was using an adapter for the lens. I put the screen on live view and took pictures of the coaster as it crested the top and came down. Dragster's layout was mirrored. It rose on the left and dropped on the right. I took some photos of it dropping and speeding into the brakes. A friend was with me. I wan

Mom tries to call me at Cedar Point

Rating
Monday, October 14 2013

I was in the employee area of Stockade at Cedar Point. I didn't work at the park anymore, but I was somehow allowed back there. I was told I had a call and to call park services to pick it up. I didn't remember the number, but there was a laminated sheet near the phone with important numbers. I called services, and the desk person picked up. I said who I was and that I had a call, and she told me to hang up so she could put it through. I did, and the phone rang. I said "hello?" a few times, but

Ex-girlfriend's child?

Rating
Wednesday, October 9 2013

My ex-girlfriend Christy and I were driving from Sandusky to a Wal-Mart or other similar store. We got out of the car, and a light snowfall started. She opened the door behind her and tended to a baby in a child seat. I don't know whose baby it was, but it could have been hers. She didn't speak to it. I thought of my friends Kathy and Jess, who were at Cedar Point. I think we were going to meet up, and I considered calling them to say where I was. Christy took the baby out of the seat and adjus
