Ghosts on TV and in the house

Rating
Saturday, July 29 2017

I was in a house with my family. We put Dad to bed. I started watching a TV show about ghosts. Somehow I got the idea that this house was haunted. I had a glass of water on a table and quietly said, "If you're here, knock that glass over." But I didn't want the water spilled, so I said, "Don't do that. Somehow just show me that you're here." Nothing happened. I watched the show. It was about people in the 1910s. A woman filmed a ghost. They were little chil

Helping get dad ready and petting the cat

Rating
Wednesday, May 24 2017

I was in my childhood bedroom. I was the age I am now. I got out of bed because Mom wanted help with Dad. I went into his room to get him ready in the morning. Mom seemed angry. Our cat walked into the room. I pet her. I thought it was strange that she was alive. I pet the cat, and she stepped into a shoebox. She rolled around in there while I played with her. She was really soft -- softer than she really was. Mom started getting Dad ready. She took off his blanket, which appeared to be the b

Coffee shop with my co-workers

Rating
Friday, January 13 2017

I walked inside the Songbird coffee shop and went to the counter, where I ordered a latte. The employee behind the counter told me there was one person ahead of me with a phone order, so it might take awhile. That person ordered 70 coffees. I walked around the building. I saw a woman sitting in a room to the left of the counter. I went in there, but the staffers told me that was for employees only. Eventually my order was ready. I grabbed the cup and set it down on a small, slightly wobbly ta

My dad on a bike

Rating
Thursday, December 29 2016

I was walking on the sidewalk in front of the Bashas' in Kayenta. Tim Vines was in a two-door sports car parked next to the curb. I walked up to him and told him Tom Simpson had died. It was a joke, but he freaked out. He needed to get out of the car immediately but couldn't get the door open. He had a Club (the anti-theft device) and used a tool on the end to shatter a tiny window behind the driver's side door window. I told him to calm down because it was just a joke. He was get

Weeding, Dad has a message, sheriff at the door

Rating
Sunday, December 11 2016

My brother and I were in the backyard of our childhood home. We were pulling up weeds. My brother noticed that the big tree's branches were getting close to power lines. He said he wondered if New Jersey Electric should be contacted about them. I said he shouldn't worry because they would know. Every year they check out the lines. They'd notice the tree getting closer. I picked up a tall single stalk. It had a big clump of dirt on the roots. I swung it around and threw it over the

Tour bus in New York

Rating
Saturday, September 24 2016

I was at a plaza in New York. It was crowded with tourists. Zack was with me, though I don't know if he was there the whole time or if he showed up after a while. A large bus pulled up and people exited. Daniel, Blaise and their dad got out. Zack said we were going with them. Zack put a card to a machine and got a ticket for the bus. I had to get a ticket, so I went to the machine. It was a small kiosk about 7 or 8 feet tall. Tickets were $7. I had some $5 bills, a $1 bill and a $2 bil

Nuclear meltdown imminent

Rating
Monday, July 25 2016

I was in a familiar place, possibly the house I grew up in. Only it was the controls for a nuclear power plant. My brother was in what would be the kitchen in the house. He pressed a button on a device that had an interface like a microwave oven. Two number displays appeared, one around nine minutes, the other six. The nine minutes was when a meltdown would happen. The other was counting down something else. A computerized voice said it was syncing the two, which dropped the nine minutes to s

Anne's dad is dead

Rating
Thursday, March 3 2016

Anne and I were in my house in Kayenta. She told me that her dad had just died. I didn't know what to say. She didn't seem too upset. She was really quiet and not making eye contact. She told me he did the voice of Frank Grimes in an episode of "The Simpsons." I thought that was strange because I pictured the episode in my head and couldn't place the voice as his. But I didn't want to not believe her because he did just die. We were in the kitchen. My mom was chop

Video game: Parents in another floor, dad shot off the roof

Rating
Thursday, February 11 2016

My brother was playing a game on my Xbox. It was a first-person shooter and sort of like "The Sims." He was inside a house. He added a second level to it for his parents to live. But he didn't like them having access to the ground floor, so he put a giant lollipop between the floors. The second floor sat atop a big red ball that was the end of the lollipop. The father climbed to the roof. My brother's character hid in some bushes and aimed his rifle at the dad's head. Th

Dad's strange blackheads

Rating
Thursday, November 26 2015

My dad, brother and I were in a cornfield. Dad had some kind of strange deposits in his leg. They were like large blackheads. I would squeeze them and remove them. I was using a small metal tool. It was long and had a loop on the end.   I did this for a while. Some were white. They were all hard like ceramic. The skin under them was raw. I told my brother that we had to do this. A doctor said we should.
