No money for food

Rating
Saturday, September 23 2017

I was at Cedar Point, though it felt more like Holiday World because there were hills and trees. I was near where Liberty Launch is at Holiday World, though things were distorted. I was a worker there, but I was not on the clock. I was dressed in regular clothes (not my uniform) and had on flip-flops. I was hungry and ran to a booth on the midway near me. I waited in line. It was for employees only but faced the midway. For some reason I thought the food was free because it was for employe

Grocery store and loose spaghetti

Rating
Sunday, September 17 2017

Tim Vines and I were in a strange grocery store that was like a combination Whole Foods and Ikea. I wanted snacks but didn't find anything good. He was grabbing some groceries. I walked into one aisle near the checkout. The aisles would dead-end into windows. In one aisle was a bag of cooked spaghetti called loose spaghetti. I grabbed a handful of the spaghetti to show it to Tim Vines. I wanted to make a joke. When I walked up to him, he said he was getting ready to make his purchase. I d

In line for Raptor; elephant ears

Rating
Sunday, August 27 2017

I was in line for Raptor at Cedar Point. The line was different from the actual line. It had a long, straight section next to the loop and zero-G roll, and it was in a field. The line was short, and I was hoping to get in a few rides. I got one ride and ran down the exit, which also was different. It had a queue, and I had to wind through to get out. There also were little gates with latches I had to undo to go through. I ran back to the entrance. I didn't have my counter so I had to reme

I stop to contemplate s'mores

Rating
Wednesday, August 23 2017

I was in a grocery store to buy food. I had everything I needed but passed by a table with graham crackers. I thought I should buy some and other ingredients to make s'mores. But I thought about it. I don't have a fireplace or a fire pit. I only have an electric stove. I wondered if I could still pull it off. It might be messy, and my marshmallow wouldn't be on fire (how I like it), but it could still be tasty.

Mom spills food on me

Rating
Wednesday, August 9 2017

My mom, brother and I were in the living room of my childhood house. We were eating. We just had our plates over our laps. I had coffee beans and some kind of liquid on my plate. I was finished. Mom's food had tomatoes and might have been a pasta dish. She wanted to pour the rest of her food onto my plate, but she didn't tell me. I moved my plate away because I was finished and was going to get up. Mom dumped her plate in my lap, staining my jeans. I got mad, which made her mad too. I

Shopping for big apples; the store floods

Rating
Friday, August 4 2017

My mom and I were in one of those shopping warehouses like Costco. There was a display that had a thin slice of a huge apple. There was an apple-shaped cutting board behind it. Mom wanted to slice some pieces of the apple. There were two slices there already, and I said we could grab those instead of slicing. She grabbed those slices and stood on the edge of a shopping cart. It moved, so she slid down so she didn't fall. She was going to put the apples in the car, but it wasn't her ca

Bus ride to a restaurant that serves insects

Rating
Sunday, July 30 2017

Tim Vines and I were on a bus in an unfamiliar city in the Midwest. It was stopped at an intersection, though the intersection was behind us because of traffic. A woman was sitting in a booth on the sidewalk. She was directing traffic and giving instructions and information. She had very tall, braided hair that reminded me of Marge Simpson. We shouted out the window at her. He asked her a question, and I said her hair looked nice. Her shift ended and someone else took over. Tim Vines asked th

We have to give a student a $3 billion check

Rating
Wednesday, July 26 2017

Jill and I were at a university. We had an assignment in which we had to go to the cafeteria and grab food. We needed a piece of fried chicken and green beans. We had to take them to a classroom and hand it to a Chinese student. Somehow that would complete a transaction of $3 billion. Jill had all these notes on her phone. She had a check or something for it. She wrote out the check, but it was filled out with a different name than hers. We got to the classroom. It had tiered seats and was na

Lunch with my counselor

Rating
Monday, July 10 2017

I was at counseling. We had to go somewhere. For some reason I was only in my underwear. We got in my counselor's pickup and drove around while he still counseled me. He asked if I was hungry. I said sure. We stopped at a sushi place. I climbed out of the pickup, which was really high up. We went inside. No one was in there except the chef. It looked like my counselor was rolling his own sushi. I think he was picking out his sushi. He picked two types. There were only four cuts available.

Naked, school newspaper and an odd puzzle

Rating
Wednesday, June 28 2017

I was in my school newspaper office, though it was nothing like it really is. Brett (my old editor-in-chief and a friend) was telling me what the newspaper was doing these days. I sat at a desk. I think I was naked for some of this dream. I found a towel or something to wrap around myself. No one noticed or said anything. I wanted to tell someone what we did at the paper. I opened Google on a computer but mistyped "Arizona Daily Wildcat" as "Arizona Daisy Wildcat" or somet
