A job tryout in a hospital

Rating
Monday, February 13 2017

I was back at my last job. I had either gotten rehired or was there for a tryout. The office was in a different building. It was in the new hospital tower. I walked into the lobby and had to sign a sheet of paper that said who I was and that I was going to the seventh floor. One of the editors was with me. I think it was Anna Jo. We got in the elevator. This was an advanced hospital with a high-tech elevator. It was circular shaped and didn't have walls or a shaft. It did have a barrier a

A line for Lewis Hamilton in a hospital

Rating
Monday, December 26 2016

My brother and I were at a hospital, but we didn't need it or to see anyone. We were in a hallway or a big room with a long line of people. I turned around and looked at the end of the line. Lewis Hamilton was there, and I got excited. I got in line to meet him and get a picture. But to get in line cost $75. I didn't want to pay that. For some reason, they waived the fee for me. They told me I could get in line. I thought about things to say to him. Should I let him know that I kno

Riding a shopping cart in a hospital

Rating
Thursday, November 24 2016

I was sitting in a shopping cart in a long hallway in a hospital. I had to visit someone I knew, though I don't know who. I was able to get the cart moving. I rode in it as it traveled along the hall. I couldn't control it well, though I did get it to turn slightly by leaning. I moved past people in hospital beds in the hall. One man around my age was lying on his side. His girlfriend or wife was visiting him and patting his head. Everyone had pink sheets and blankets, which I thought

First day of my job as a surgeon

Rating
Monday, September 19 2016

I was with my mom in an airport at night. We had just arrived. The flight was delayed, so we were late. We were in a place that wasn't where I live now (possibly Florida). I needed to get home, which was about 40 minutes away. I had the first day of a new job the next day. I was a surgeon. I needed to find a hotel or get home. We decided on a hotel because it was closer. I looked on a map on my phone where to go. We walked outside. We saw a penny on the ground, so I stopped and picked it

Brain scans

Rating
Sunday, July 17 2016

I was in a medical facility for some head scans. I was in a small room that had what looked like an old computer. There was what looked like a large external floppy drive near it. But it wasn't a floppy drive. It was a CT scan. The doctor told me to put my head in it. Somehow the view switched from my POV to third person. I watched myself put my head in face up. It scanned quickly -- maybe the same amount of time to use a scanner to scan a photo. I took my head out and was back to seeing

Work locks and no shirt

Rating
Sunday, March 8 2015

I was at work, though the layout was different from the real thing. It felt like a hospital. There was a set of small lockers on a wall. They had large combination locks on them. The white locks were almost as big as the locker doors. The lockers were about as big as my apartment mailbox. They weren't assigned; they were first-come, first-served. I hadn't used one yet, but I knew the combination. I opened it and inside were many more combination locks. I put a jacket in and closed the

Dr. Greene's sick and angry

Rating
Friday, January 27 2012

I was in a room in a hospital or clinic. There were a few people in there, one of which was Dr. Greene from "ER." He was in a wheelchair and not doing well because of his cancer. His wife also was in a wheelchair, but that's because she was nine months pregnant. Greene was trying to move, but his right arm fell from its position propping his head up. He slumped down in the wheelchair. I tried to help him move his arm, but he pulled it away and grunted angrily at me. He said he didn't need my he

Bruce is better, then sick again

Rating
Sunday, August 8 2010

I was in a hospital to visit a co-worker, Bruce. He was sitting in a couch in some sort of common area or waiting room. We had heard he was doing better. He looked OK when we saw him. There was a doctor in there to talk to us. The doctor said he was doing a lot better. We were happy, but then the doctor said he was going to die. I thought something like "Everyone in this room is going to die. Why would the doctor tell us that?" The doctor told us Bruce was either going to go home and die soon,

Hospital visit

Rating
Friday, July 30 2010

I was in a hospital to visit a friend. The people on the ground floor told me when visiting hours were. I walked over to the elevators. A man I assumed was a doctor walked up and pushed the down button, but he didn't push it hard enough. I had to go to the third floor, so I pushed up. I pushed his button too. We waited for an elevator to come. We both got on when it did. There was a man in this elevator, and it was going to the basement. I was a little upset that I got on without seeing that it

Military fatigues and the hospital

Sunday, January 17 2010

I was wearing military fatigues and was at a loading dock or ambulance port to a hospital. An ambulance was parked there with its back two doors open. I had a powerful handgun with me. Some police officers were either yelling at me or saying things over a megaphone. I set my gun down in the back of the ambulance and walked out from behind it with my hands in the air. There was an open door leading to the hospital. It was night, so the light coming from the hospital door was extremely bright. As
