Tiny bird in a fish tank

Rating
Tuesday, December 13 2016

My brother and I were in what appeared to be the house we grew up in. In the kitchen was a large tank similar to our aquarium from our youth. It was full of eels and water snakes. My brother took some of the eels out and put them on a stool. One of them looked like a cobra, but it was harmless. The animals tried to get back in the tank, but he kept putting them back on the stool. He put some of them in cages on the counter. A tiny bird flailed in the water. I grabbed it and set it on the stoo

Smaller window

Rating
Sunday, March 6 2016

I was in my apartment's kitchen. The window was smaller and lower than it actually is, but the sink appeared to be normal. The stairs leading to the upstairs apartments were in front of the window. I heard a car doing a lot of back and forth driving, so I looked out the living room window to look. A long car, possibly an older Cadillac, was trying to back in to a parking space. Eventually it got there. Five or six people got out and headed to the stairs. I went back to the kitchen and

Anne's dad is dead

Rating
Thursday, March 3 2016

Anne and I were in my house in Kayenta. She told me that her dad had just died. I didn't know what to say. She didn't seem too upset. She was really quiet and not making eye contact. She told me he did the voice of Frank Grimes in an episode of "The Simpsons." I thought that was strange because I pictured the episode in my head and couldn't place the voice as his. But I didn't want to not believe her because he did just die. We were in the kitchen. My mom was chop

My brother and I weigh ourselves

Rating
Thursday, November 12 2015

My brother and I were in the house we grew up in. We were in the kitchen. We were the ages we are now. Tim wanted to know how much I weighed. I said we should find out how much he weighs too. I knew my weight, but he didn't know his. He didn't know how we'd find this out. I went into the bathroom because I knew there was a scale in there. I grabbed it. It was larger than the actual scale my mom had. It was maybe 2 feet by 2 feet. It was covered it dust and grime. I cleaned it off.

School for gifted people

Rating
Friday, July 3 2015

I was selected to be part of a summer school for gifted people. I was the age I am now. A few classmates from high school were with me, including Nehemiah. We talked about how unusual this was. We got off a bus and entered a large building. We were led to the kitchen. Some people on the other side of a tall metal counter told us to write down what they said. The person across from me started talking fast. He was saying my schedule. "Monday at 9:30 a.m., you're in Room 2-2." This

Cooking noodles incorrectly

Rating
Monday, June 29 2015

I was in my apartment. I had an appointment in a short time, but I had enough time to make a meal. I put some olive oil on a pan and put it on the stove. I grabbed some spaghetti noodles from the pantry. I knew I didn't have much time, so I grabbed a small amount of noodles. I wanted to eat more, but I decided I could live if I didn't stuff myself. But while I was thinking about the amount of noodles, I didn't think of what I was doing. I put them in the pan with the oil. I rea

Mouse in the freezer

Rating
Saturday, June 13 2015

I was in a house (or some kind of living space; maybe it was an apartment), and I was with at least one woman I didn't know. This person was trying to catch a mouse and dispose of it. We were in the kitchen. There was an implication that Tim Vines was my roommate and that he was nearby, but I didn't see him. I had just made a sandwich and put it in a plastic container. The container was the same width and length of the sandwich, and it was about an inch and a half taller. It was perfe

I don't like this Ken Jennings book

Rating
Thursday, June 4 2015

I was in the kitchen in what seemed to be the house I grew up in. I had a paperback book by Ken Jennings. The book was about dating and relationships. It opened with a drawing of the female reproductive system. It said one should familiarize oneself with the vagina very early in life. It said you'd failed if you hadn't by the time you were still in diapers. This angered me. I ripped the front cover off the book. I thumbed through the rest of the book, and it seemed like it was insu

Someone tries to steal my Xbox

Rating
Friday, February 20 2015

I was living in a house, and it had an odd layout. It was long and narrow. There were two rooms on one end. One was a kitchen, and the other was a big room with my TV and seating, sort of like a living room. I had my Xbox there. The outside wall was glass. The wall between the kitchen and room was a regular wall. I was in the kitchen and talking to my brother. I heard some kind of commotion in the living room, so I walked in it. My Xbox was moved and on the floor. Its cables were strewn about

Wax fingertips

Rating
Thursday, November 28 2013

I was in my aunt's old house with my family. My cousins Alison and Emily and I were in the kitchen. We were dipping our fingers into melted red wax. It was supposed to be a test or some kind of familial bond. We'd get the wax on our fingertips and try to do something mundane like turn the page of a book. Emily brought her boyfriend in. She introduced him as You. I said, "Hey, You," and was proud of myself. I was curious about that being his name, and he showed me a document that said his name w
