Going through the TSA

Rating
Thursday, September 14 2017

I was in the security line at Pittsburgh's airport. I set my things in bins but forgot about my belt and shoes. I had a second pair of shoes in a bin. I asked someone behind me for a small bin. He handed it to me. It was a small bowl with two smaller bowls attached to the front (it made me think it was for dogs to eat out of). I put my things in all the bins and took off my belt. There was no scanner. They told me to stop when I walked toward an agent. There was a person sitting at a cont

Rude restaurant

Rating
Sunday, April 2 2017

I was in a Spanish restaurant with my brother and Zack. We were seated in the back of a second room. It wasn't busy there. The server came to us and asked our orders. We wanted to start with appetizers. My brother wanted to order something, but it was expensive so he changed his mind. He instead ordered empanadas or some kind of stuffed pastry. We said to come back for our regular orders. I told Tim he could get that expensive item and we could share. I think it was $50. He said no. I too

A visit to Costco

Rating
Wednesday, March 29 2017

I was at Costco to see what all the hype was about. I walked around with no cart or basket. I didn't need much, so I just looked around. I grabbed a box of cereal, some shoes and ice cream. I thought I ran into someone I knew. I think it was my co-worker Thania. I said this place wasn't that impressive. It's just a lot of stuff and a lot in bulk, which I can't get because I live in a tiny apartment. I went to check out. It was set up strange. People would wait in one line f

Budding relationship; apartments full of pasta

I was in my room in the house I grew up in. I was talking to a woman who kind of reminded me of Tim R.'s girlfriend but younger. We were talking about Cedar Point because we used to work there or currently worked there. She was asking me for pointers when it rained. I said I wore waterproof shoes but that sometimes that didn't work. I said we'd put garbage bags on our feet (even though that was frowned upon) and put a rubber band around our ankles to keep the bags tight. We had

Meeting with two friends

Rating
Friday, June 12 2015

I was sitting outside at a table with my friend Marcus. We were in an unfamiliar city. There were lots of big trees around. I don't know what we were talking about, but we were having a good time. Then I saw another friend, Tim R. I crossed the street to meet him. We talked about how graduate school was going for him. He was disappointed that he only had made one real friend from his classes. He said there were six others he thought might become friends, but they didn't. We walked

A fight in Cedar Point's break area

Rating
Tuesday, March 24 2015

My brother and I were at Cedar Point. We were near the front of the park. We were about to begin our first day working. I wanted a place to stop and rest so I could gather my thoughts. My friend Adena was supposed to text me. When she did, I'd know it was time to go to the break area. The place where we were had something wrong with the synchronization of the music played in the park. One speaker was about half a second behind the others. I moved to a speaker near a food stand and was abl

Earthquake in Georgia

Rating
Friday, October 3 2014

I was in a locker room with two girls who were around 10 years old and a man who seemed familiar. The girls were being obnoxious. One of them had diarrhea and made a mess on parts of the locker room floor. I was wearing socks with no shoes, so I was trying to be careful walking around. There was an announcement over the PA about an earthquake in New Mexico. It was powerful enough that we would feel it in Georgia. Somehow I knew we were in Georgia. I started to panic. I didn't want to be inside

I'm naked at a funeral

Rating
Wednesday, June 18 2014

I was at a family member's funeral. It might have been my nana's, though she died in 2004. I was sitting with my brother, and I realized I was naked from the waist down. No one else noticed.I pointed it out to my brother. I asked if I could borrow his pants for a while. I needed to go to a store to buy my own. I told him I'd pay him $108, with the $8 being $2 bills. He said it was a deal.A woman walked up to me and offered her condolences. I said thanks. She noticed that I was naked, but she did

My brother and I climb a tall crane

Rating
Saturday, July 13 2013

My brother and I climbed a tall crane somewhere in West Palm Beach (I'm not too sure of the location, but it sort of felt like it). It was next to either the Intracoastal Waterway or a large lake/lagoon. It was a tower crane, with its support being a vertical lattice structure. We climbed up a ladder to a point about two-thirds of the way up where we could rest. We took our shoes off on that resting platform. I was wearing some large clown boots or some kind of goofy shoes. They're hard to desc

Kayenta's airport

Rating
Saturday, April 5 2008

Tim Vines and I were in an international airport in Kayenta. We had just gotten through security and headed to the terminals when someone stopped Tim Vines. He got a metal detector wand and pointed it at his shoes. It made a faint noise on his right shoe, and the man told him he couldn't wear shoes that shiny on a plane. It was really soon after Sept. 11, 2001, so we knew security was tight, but I got mad. I started ranting and yelling about how ridiculous it was because shined shoes weren't re
