Modeling on stage

Rating
Sunday, September 20 2015

I was in a theater that was putting on some kind of fashion show or photo shoot. There was a white screen on the stage that models would stand behind to create a silhouette. A muscular male model stood behind it to get his photo taken, but he had to leave. The leader or director told me to take his place. I said I wasn't in as good of shape as him, but she said that didn't matter. I said I didn't know what to do. She said they'd direct me. She tried putting me at ease even tho

Terrible wheelchair ramp

Rating
Sunday, March 22 2015

I was with my dad. He was progressed enough in his illness (multiple sclerosis) that he had to use a wheelchair, but he could still talk. He didn't need a feeding tube yet. We were on a wooden platform or stage. It was an entrance to some kind of event. It was outdoors and seemed like it was a fair, but it could have been anything. I had to wheel him down off the stage, but the ramp was too steep. I wheeled him back to the middle of the platform where an organizer was sitting behind a

Angry at the play's director

Rating
Wednesday, February 25 2015

I was putting on a community theater production of "The Wizard of Oz." I knew I hadn't done as much rehearsing as I needed, but I felt confident I'd do well because I did in high school when we put on this play.    The Tin Man had just finished, so my turn was coming up. I wasn't in my costume yet. I couldn't find all the pieces. That slowed us down. I eventually found them but didn't have anywhere to put them on.    Backstage were me

A bad performance

Rating
Monday, September 22 2014

I was with friends in a cafeteria or stage setting. The floor was tile, and there was a raised stage at the end of the room. It was kind of like the cafeteria in my high school. The floor was open. We were going to see a performance. We didn't know what it was. People brought out the sets. They looked sort of familiar but like a really bad version of the pieces for "Rent." They brought out the centerpiece, and I knew it was "Rent." They had "Rent" in bubbly cut-out letters all over the centerpi

I have to tell jokes on stage

Rating
Friday, July 25 2014

I was in my high school's auditorium building. My old classmate Talaya wanted to race me from the lobby to the classroom. We started running, but I discovered that I could slide my feet over long distances. The hallway to the classroom sloped down, and I just slid on my heels the entire length. We ended up in the classroom. It acted as the green room before people went on stage. I was asked to go on stage and do anything funny or amusing. I could tell jokes or stories. I was completely unprepar

Strange show at Busch Gardens

Rating
Sunday, March 24 2013

I was at Busch Gardens in Tampa. I was watching a show from the front row, and I watched it a few times. The second time, I get pulled on stage, where I sit down at table. The person on stage with me picks some bread apart and eats it. He passes me the plate, and I do the same, though this action confuses me. I see a jeep pull up behind a curtain covering a doorway. The stage was covered in smoke or some kind of distraction. Then I fell through a tunnel under the table, which is a surpris

Our production of 'Rent' fails

I was on a stage with some friends and other people, and I was told we were performing "Rent" that evening. I would be playing Roger, and Tim Vines was Mark. I think Anne was there, but I don't know who she was. We started the show with Mark coming out, and the audience clapped. There was an "X" on the stage for him to stand, but there were tons of X's in a grid pattern all over, and I had no idea how anyone knew where to stand. When he started and said, "We begin on Christmas Eve," the audienc

Concert on the stage

Rating
Tuesday, August 9 2011

I was backstage at my high school's auditorium. Mrs. Frisinger was directing, as usual. There was a play going on, but a large orchestra was taking up most of the stage. The play was going to happen in aisles in the orchestra and in other parts of the auditorium. I tried to find a black curtain to hide behind because I didn't have pants on. I thought I found a good location backstage, but there was a gap. People saw me, so I quickly hopped behind more curtains and pulled my pants up. Mrs. Frisi

Not ready to act

Saturday, May 7 2011

I was in a drama class in high school. We were preparing to put on a play. Some of us were in the audience seats. I was taking up a few seats with my backpack and script. I was going over the script because I didn't completely remember my lines. My phone vibrated, and I didn't get to it until it started ringing. It was my friend Byron. He wanted to know if I was going to visit Six Flags Over Texas and if I wanted to go to Schlitterbahn also. He gave me some dates, the 21st to the 23rd. I had a

Theater class

Rating
Thursday, October 14 2010

I was in my high school's theater before we were going to perform a play. We were onstage rehearsing or going over our lines. The theater was dark. I cracked a joke or something, and the audience laughed. The lights came up, and the first two rows of the left and middle sets of seats were filled. But they were people from class, plus my brother. I jumped off the stage, and everyone got up and walked toward the exit. I was holding a red binder that I assume had the script in it. I worked my way
