Vacation to Puerto Rico

Rating
Saturday, February 18 2017

I was on a plane with my brother, mom and a few other people I knew. I think Bert Cooper (from "Mad Men") was aboard. We were flying over a city in Puerto Rico. Below was the airport. It was in the middle of the city. All the buildings were white. The airport had a single runway. Since it was almost directly below us and surrounded by buildings, I wondered what this approach would be like. We circled twice, getting lower each time. We made an abrupt right turn, flew under a bridge a

City Council meeting and a strange hallway door

Rating
Wednesday, February 8 2017

I was attending a Phoenix City Council meeting. I walked out of the building and down a large, long hallway. I stepped outside near a loading dock. I had to do something or had a question to ask someone. I walked around a little bit then thought I should go back to the meeting. But the doors were closed and locked. In the hallway was a large metal device that lined part of the hall. It was sort of like if there were a metal detector taking up the entire width and height of the hallway. It sta

Cruise ship passes Cedar Point

Rating
Saturday, August 22 2015

My brother and I were at a port. We walked next to a cruise ship that people were exiting. The crowds were annoying because everyone was moving slowly. A lot of them were old and in wheelchairs.    We passed several exit ramps, pushing our way past people. We were going to board, but we couldn't do it if the ramps were full. My brother spotted an unused ramp nearby. It looked to be for employees, but we walked on it anyway.    It took us into the kitchen. We d

Model railroad

Rating
Sunday, April 5 2015

Someone was showing me an elaborate model railroad they had built. I was looking at some mountains that were supposed to be the Alps. They were covered in "snow" (white paint), and the rails were sunken into the earth. The crossties didn't show. A Lego person in an electric wheelchair was trying to escape to a hideout in the mountains. This person left another room where the scenery was different and was now on a path through the snowy part. He passed over the railroad tracks an

Terrible wheelchair ramp

Rating
Sunday, March 22 2015

I was with my dad. He was progressed enough in his illness (multiple sclerosis) that he had to use a wheelchair, but he could still talk. He didn't need a feeding tube yet. We were on a wooden platform or stage. It was an entrance to some kind of event. It was outdoors and seemed like it was a fair, but it could have been anything. I had to wheel him down off the stage, but the ramp was too steep. I wheeled him back to the middle of the platform where an organizer was sitting behind a

Taking Dad to the restroom

Rating
Monday, December 22 2014

I was with my dad in a government building. He was in his wheelchair. He asked me if I could take him to the restroom.    I wheeled him out of an office where a trial was happening. I moved him down some steps and into a restroom. For some reason we couldn't use that one, so I wheeled him out.    I came to a large room with restrooms on three levels. The first floor was occupied. I said we'd use the third floor for more privacy. There was a ramp, so I whee

A new restaurant in Austin

Rating
Sunday, December 7 2014

I was in an alley in Austin. To my right was a brick building with doors in it. The door farthest from me was open. People were coming and going from it. It was going to be a new restaurant, and they were doing prep work. I walked up to it and looked inside. A few feet inside the door stood what looked like coffee makers. They were about 3-foot-tall stainless steel cylinders. They had paper signs on them. One said "404 Waitress Not Found." I thought that was clever and entered to ta

Doug drives dangerously

Rating
Wednesday, August 6 2014

I was in a car with Doug and another person. We were going from a hotel to Holiday World. Doug and I were sitting in the back seats, and the third person ( a stranger) was in the front passenger seat. Somehow Doug was driving. Doug had a tablet with him and kept reaching for it. I told him to keep his eyes on the road, but he insisted he was good. He wanted to look something up. It wasn't important and could have waited, but he didn't want to wait. We got to a T-intersection. The light was red.

Helping dad

Rating
Monday, March 10 2014

I was at my childhood home. I was in the middle bedroom with my dad, who was in a fairly advanced stage of his disease. He was lying down in the futon, which was against the wall perpendicular to the door. He sat up, albeit slowly and poorly. He asked if I could help him put his socks on. His speech was slightly slurred. I put his socks on and asked if he needed help getting into his wheelchair. He said he'd do it himself. I wheeled the chair over to the side of the bed, but he couldn't do it.

Two men threaten me

Rating
Tuesday, November 26 2013

I was walking in an unfamiliar neighborhood that might have been in my hometown or somewhere in Northern Arizona. There was dirt instead of grass on the ground, so that's why I think that. I walked on a dirt lot by a building. There was a paved road next to it. A man in a wheelchair was in the road, and he was with a friend. The man in the wheelchair shouted at me and said he knew I worked for the newspaper. He told me to take his friend's name off an article. I said I don't have the power to d
