Kings Island tornado

Rating
Sunday, May 31 2009

I was at Kings Island with Tim Vines, and we were in line for the new coaster, Diamondback. I was really excited because I had not ridden it yet. He already had one ride, and he said it was excellent. We got to the station, which had a lot of windows and doors leading to the rows. I stood next to the front row ready to get in, but I was a train away. The train loaded, and the lap bars came down. The train sat on a concrete floor, and the floor and train shifted about a foot to the right to lock

Helping my dad

Rating
Saturday, May 30 2009

I was in a dorm with my dad. I was college aged, and my dad was in a decent condition. He could talk OK, but he needed a wheelchair. We were in the hall of a dorm and checking things out. It might have been my sophomore or junior year because I felt like I was familiar with some things. My dad said he had to go to the bathroom, so I wheeled him to a room at the end of the hall. It was someone's room, but it apparently was the only room with a bathroom. There was a girl lying in the middle of th

Choose your ride

I was with some friends in line for Mantis at Cedar Point. We were in the station on the unloading side. The station was larger than the real thing, and it was shaped differently. There was red railing separating the station from the exit ramp. I stood by the railing and saw three people I used to work with, Matt, Kristina and Vince. I yelled at Matt, but he didn't notice. So I yelled his wife's name, and she turned around. We talked for a bit. She asked if I was still in Ohio, but Vince piped

Launching water

Rating
Thursday, May 21 2009

I was with a group of people, and we were in a large dirt field. We had a catapult and were launching things filled with water. There were large sprinklers and water cannons in the field that we could direct. Launching was unusual because we didn't put a 2-liter bottle of water in the scoop and pull the lever. We had to hold the bottle about 3 feet away from the scoop and have it hit the bottle. Somehow, that made the bottle launch. I was told it would fly straight up or backward if we loaded it

I get pulled over

Rating
Saturday, May 16 2009

I was driving to work in a city I am not familiar with. I stopped at a light to turn left, but the left-turn arrow never came on. Traffic kept moving, but I couldn't turn left. Cars started stopping behind me. I got frustrated. Then a police officer got out of her car and walked over to me. She talked to me for a bit, and then the light turned green. I turned. Then I was driving a different way through the intersection, and the same police officer pulled me over. She said she noticed that I ha

Crazy roller coasters

Rating
Thursday, May 14 2009

I was at a small amusement park with some friends. We were in line for a roller coaster similar to Cyclone at Wonderland and Wild Chipmunk at Lakeside. But it wasn't like a normal roller coaster. It didn't have standard track and rails. It was more like a solid, cylindrical-shaped track. The cars wrapped most of the way around the track. I got in a car with a friend, and the ride started. It didn't seem like there was a set way for the cars to bank and tilt. They just moved and wobbled around t

My blood pressure

Rating
Tuesday, May 12 2009

I went to the doctor for a check-up, and they told me they needed to monitor my blood pressure for two days. They put a blood-pressure thing on my arm and pumped the air so it was tight. It was unusual, though, because it had two clear plastic tubes on it. One was attached to a vein under the wrap, and the other dragged below in the open air. My blood flowed into the tubes and dripped on the floor below. It had some kind of plastic stopper to prevent the blood from dripping. I was supposed to l

My odd vacation

Rating
Friday, May 8 2009

Tim Vines, a woman I knew and I were on a vacation with a bunch of other people. I think we won some kind of contest. We were on a Southwest plane flying to the vacation. The flight attendants were really fun and joked around with all of us. We landed in a town but not at the airport. We taxied down a road and turned left. The pilot told us to hold on and prepare for a water landing, even though we were already on the ground. We turned on to a street that went downhill about 200 feet. At the en

Walking in the desert

Monday, May 4 2009

Zack, my brother and I were walking in the desert behind the housing in Kayenta. Earlier in the day, I told my friend Jeff that we would go to Cedar Point together and that I would pay for his ticket. I had a season pass. I told him we'd leave at 1. But in the desert, the three of us were wandering around looking for things to take pictures of for a movie. The sun was setting, and we saw a great scene of the sun setting over the Toes. There was a 40-foot-tall mound of dirt and trash that I clim
