Tilted and sideways elevator

Rating
Wednesday, November 30 2016

I was in a building that was supposed to be my workplace but was different. I think I was with Anthony A., a former schoolmate. We got in the elevator and had to go to the eighth floor. A few other people got in. As the elevator went up, it tilted. We laughed a little because it was strange One man in the corner was nervous. It tilted more as it ascended. Then it stopped. We were scared because it was off the track. It also seemed to go sideways. We stopped on the seventh floor. I decided

New language to learn

Rating
Tuesday, November 29 2016

I was in a classroom. Miss Matke, my high school Spanish teacher, was the teacher. She was teaching us another language. This was an upper-level class. Instead of continuing Spanish, we each had to choose a new language. I chose Greek. We each learned a few phrases from our chosen language. I learned past, present and future tenses of some words, and I learned numbers. She asked all of us questions, and we had to answer in our language. I didn't know anything about this language. It was f

Woman has a gun

Rating
Tuesday, November 29 2016

I was outside a house in a neighborhood that might have been the one I grew up in, though it seemed nicer. An old woman inside a house was angry with me. I was in the driveway. She came out carrying a small revolver. I tried to keep her calm. She approached me. I said I would fight her if necessary to defend myself. She kept coming toward me, so I hit her and pushed her away. I was able to grab the gun. She ran inside. I set the gun down and called 911. The first thing I wanted to say was

College journalism class

Rating
Monday, November 28 2016

I was in a classroom of about 30 people. Some of the students were my current co-workers. I was the age I am now. I felt like a know-it-all because I have been working for 10 years. I didn't know why I was in this class. My supervisor, Jodie, was our instructor. As people filtered into the class, I talked to the people seated around me. My co-worker Ethan sat next to me. Outside the window I saw a pickup hauling a flatbed. On the flatbed were two cars, one of which was turned sideways. Et

I have to talk to or kill a terrorist

Rating
Sunday, November 27 2016

I was with some kind of task force or SWAT group. We had to find a terrorist. We were going to an airport. We drove on a highway. We were in a European ambulance (or we were in Europe). The siren was the European kind. The highway was clear; there was only law enforcement on it. They directed us where to go. A helicopter was overhead. It was annoucing things on its loudspeaker, but I couldn't make them out. We got to a place that seemed familiar. It might have been my apartment complex. T

Miss my flight; loud man at a show turns into chocolate

Rating
Saturday, November 26 2016

I was hanging out with Tim in his apartment in Austin. I had to go catch my flight. But there was some kind of a delay, so I had to stay another day. He called his ex-wife and said to prepare for me to stay another day, even though I knew he lived alone. I said I'd have to check to make sure my plane didn't leave. I went to what I thought was the airport but ended up being a performing arts center. I waited in a long line to buy a ticket. I saw my co-worker Maggie standing against a w

Mad at a man on a bike

Rating
Saturday, November 26 2016

I was on a dinner break from work. I walked in the area near the apartment I'll be moving to. I passed the "C" building. There were shops and restaurants in this area. I walked through the parking garage and to the sidewalk next to Roosevelt Street. I looked at some of the businesses. They were selling wares. Some monks in robes exited a business. They were working there and closing the door since their day was over. They were selling things I didn't associated with monks --

Baseball video game

Rating
Friday, November 25 2016

Tim Vines and I were playing a baseball video game. He was the Cubs; I don't know who I was. I was doing poorly. I kept trying to catch fly balls and miss them. I would try to throw the ball to bases to get the runner out, but they would overthrow or miss the player. Sometimes no one would be on the base. It was frustrating. Tim Vines was only up by a couple of runs, and it was early in the game. I thought that I could get back in the game if I got used to it. He had ordered pizza, so we

Riding a shopping cart in a hospital

Rating
Thursday, November 24 2016

I was sitting in a shopping cart in a long hallway in a hospital. I had to visit someone I knew, though I don't know who. I was able to get the cart moving. I rode in it as it traveled along the hall. I couldn't control it well, though I did get it to turn slightly by leaning. I moved past people in hospital beds in the hall. One man around my age was lying on his side. His girlfriend or wife was visiting him and patting his head. Everyone had pink sheets and blankets, which I thought

My brakes don't work well

Rating
Thursday, November 24 2016

I was driving my car in a long line of cars. Ahead was a turn to the left. I think it led to a parking lot. There were three rows of cars. My brakes weren't working right. I had to press down on the brake pedal as hard as I could, and the car would still inch forward. When the line moved, I let off the brake and coasted forward. This made the brakes behave worse the next time I pressed the pedal. The car would roll forward and then rock forward and backward when I let off the brake. I was
