A TV show kidnapping plot

Rating
Friday, December 30 2016

A man and his teenage daughter had a plot to pretend his wife (her mom) had been kidnapped and killed. The wife was to call them and scream into the phone. The daughter then would call 911. This was like a TV show or movie from my point of view. The wife picked up and screamed something into the phone. Then it showed the daughter pick up the phone at home and hear her mom scream. She hung up and called 911. She said her mother had been kidnapped and that she screamed an address. From there

Meeting Sen. John McCain

Rating
Thursday, December 29 2016

I was inside a building with a small group of people. Sen. John McCain walked in. He was talking and signing things. I wanted him to sign something, but all I had was a planning notebook. Most of it had been filled out. It had a lot of notes, and it was old. The dates were either last year or last semester. I flipped through it. One month had all the days crossed out. Another had notes on every day. Some of the notes were dates I was going on, including with Arlene. That was written in a woma

My dad on a bike

Rating
Thursday, December 29 2016

I was walking on the sidewalk in front of the Bashas' in Kayenta. Tim Vines was in a two-door sports car parked next to the curb. I walked up to him and told him Tom Simpson had died. It was a joke, but he freaked out. He needed to get out of the car immediately but couldn't get the door open. He had a Club (the anti-theft device) and used a tool on the end to shatter a tiny window behind the driver's side door window. I told him to calm down because it was just a joke. He was get

I don't want to take a class

Rating
Wednesday, December 28 2016

I was in the house I grew up in. I had just gotten up. It was 11 a.m., and I realized I had class at noon. It was the second week in the semester. I went into the kitchen and grabbed some pants from a pile next to the dryer. My mom was standing near the back door. She asked why I was in a rush. I said I had to get to class. I wondered which class it was because I had an English class that I didn't like. I considered dropping it rather than taking a failing grade. I grabbed my schedule,

SUV in a swamp, JP's photo slideshow

Rating
Tuesday, December 27 2016

I was walking in a swamp. I had to find an SUV underwater. I don't think it was mine. I had to take it. I walked deep into the swamp looking for it. Somehow I got it out and got in. I had a sledgehammer to smash it in case it didn't work. But it was perfectly dry and worked properly. I was walking with it. It had automatic features that I could control with my phone. It seemed to be driving next to me. My former co-worker Jodi had the SUV and had it programmed to her phone. She was ju

Moving desks at work

Rating
Monday, December 26 2016

I was at work. My computer was misbehaving, though I don't exactly know how. I had to move my monitors. The monitors weren't the widescreen monitors I actually have; they were 4:3 and smaller. I moved them but had one at the wrong angle. I tried adjusting it and stepped away from my desk. When I returned, someone else was sitting at my desk. I think it was my co-worker Zac. I grabbed my monitors and moved to a desk behind that one and to the left. (That's not the actual setup at w

Trapped in a black fence

Rating
Monday, December 26 2016

I was outside in an unfamiliar beach. I had to get somewhere, so I entered a fenced-in area. It was fenced in with plastic fencing (like at construction sites), but it was black. I had to get out of the fencing to go to my destination. I couldn't figure out how to get out. There was supposed to be a gate, but I couldn't find it. I tore the fencing apart. I tore out enough to get through, but that only led me to another fenced-in area. Someone there pointed out how the gate worked. The

A line for Lewis Hamilton in a hospital

Rating
Monday, December 26 2016

My brother and I were at a hospital, but we didn't need it or to see anyone. We were in a hallway or a big room with a long line of people. I turned around and looked at the end of the line. Lewis Hamilton was there, and I got excited. I got in line to meet him and get a picture. But to get in line cost $75. I didn't want to pay that. For some reason, they waived the fee for me. They told me I could get in line. I thought about things to say to him. Should I let him know that I kno

Taking photos of snow

Rating
Monday, December 26 2016

I was in my house in Kayenta. I stepped outside to maybe a foot of snow. I grabbed my camera. Only some snow was on the rail of the porch. I took a photo with that and the white scene in the background. I went to the driveway to get more shots. I took a photo of the snow on the fence and snow on a branch. I was shooting at f/5.6 but stopped down to f/8 because it was so bright. But at f/8, the exposure was vastly different. The shutter speed was around 1 second. I didn't know why. I stopp

Grad school classes in the middle school

Rating
Sunday, December 25 2016

Some co-workers, Meghan, Zack and I were taking classes in graduate school. We went into my hometown's middle school. As I looked for my class, I led Meghan around to show her locations and tell stories from my youth about them. I wanted to show her my locker from seventh grade, but then I found my classroom. There were big sheets of paper on the hallway wall that had teacher names on them. I walked by one that had a sheet of paper over another. I lifted the top sheet and saw my mom's
