The Return Of The Son Of Monster Magnet

Saturday, March 30 2013

I was visiting my parents house and was upstairs, looking at a section of their house that was unfamiliar to me. When I considered what I saw I came to the conclusion that there was a section of floor that could be redesigned and made into another room if more wood was laid down. Then I became aware of a Frank Zappa song playing on the stereo close by. I got up and went to turn it down as Dad probably wasn't quite ready for The Return Of The Son Of Monster Magnet yet, but then relent

Sliding on the floor

Monday, April 16 2012

Walking up and down, up and down a treadmill like floor for a doctor who was measuring my stamina. She went away I did some more walking on own before I decided to have some fun and did a short slide at end of walk to turn round. Dad then got involved and Sandra was also having a dispute with him. The doctor said he would discuss this difference of opinion only during his appointment.

First day at work

Saturday, August 29 2009

My first morning at a new job, and I was laying in bed as a meeting of all the workers was about to take place. I may have been an agency worker, because when the branch manager arrived, I was asked if I would step outside while they had a further discussion. So, I had to get dressed - putting on a pair of jeans that had a big hole in the crotch - and leave the room. From here I was watching my dad move boxes of CD's and books into a house. I wanted to take a look at the titles, but knew that if

The CD shelf must stay in the right order

Wednesday, March 21 2007

I was sorting my LP's out, ready to post for sale. They were all with the wrong records or with none at all, and this was because I had left their packaging to a neighbour. Dad was putting dvds above cds I told him cds were far more important!

Late for work

Thursday, May 25 2006

I was late for work after the realisation that it was 8am and I should have left much earlier. Dad was starting a new job and I saw him leaving the house. Meanwhile, my boss Edna was also at the house and had the task of parking up a stranger's car for him. She was none too pleased about this!

Toilets are for washing plates

Friday, April 28 2006

I had been told that there was no harm in washing plates in the toilet and that it was just a stigma associated with what else the toilet bowl is used for. So... at the next opportunity I had, and when the sink was already full of plates I put the rest of the washing down the toilet and pulled the chain. I was going to walk off and leave the flush to clean the plates, but Dad came along and then the reality of how would others use the toilet now set in.

The muddy wedding dress

Thursday, January 26 2006

I was outside a church (at a wedding I assume) and a young lady in a white veil slid over onto her backside in the mud after being told that the pathway was slippery. When she stood up her dress was caked in brown mud but she got into the car with no complaints and her father spoke to her.

A smashed car window

Thursday, September 1 2005

The parents were going on their holidays and I was looking at their car at a cracked window and wondering how long before it was broken into. The front door was awkward to shut, but I tried to close it with Dad

All shook up (the pop dream)

Saturday, August 27 2005

I received a birthday present from Sophie and was driving home with her to see Mum and Dad. I reached into my coat pocket for a can of red pop when I got home, and when I twisted the top the liquid spurted out and onto the floor because it was too well shaken from the drive. It went all over the floor at the door! Dad noticed what had happened and I thought he was about to say something, but instead he picked up the bottle where I had left it on the floor and drank most of the contents

Dad pushes out a bedroom window

Friday, July 22 2005

I was at a bedroom window that dad pushes too hard outwards on. It lands on the extension roof and then falls to the ground with a crash. I applied for an airplane ticket as married man. A lady takes my file from a cupboard.
