Thirty files

Well this one is interesting for me at least. I don't think the number thirty is significant, but that's how  many files I was counting in a box at work. I was making a big thing of it too, going through tens and then putting them to the left in a big blue plastic box that we do actually use in my waking life. Racist slur

My mother was having trouble with the new neighbours. Not so much from the neighbours, but those who objected to an Indian family moving next door to her. Mum said that she did not have any problem with who she lived with, and that a petition that the Indian family should move was wrong. A child that had been kidnapped was found in a building entirely filled with files. He was being moved around from location to location, according to what part was not being used at the time, and when he was found the captors had forgotten to move him on.

Bit of dreams last night

I was searching for a child's records at work and having to look through the whole borough's files in vain. This was mostly related to work matters. The contract dispute

A football player walked out on his contract and I was thumbing through his playing history which just happened to be represented in files in reception at work. He was unfit after being out of the game for a month or so.
