Football in my parents' garden

Tuesday, June 5 2012

My home team were playing in my parents' back garden. I was there, buying a magazine from the club shop which only allowed one person in at a time. I got into a complicated purchase of a magazine which prompted people behind me to complain hurry up! The delay was due to a man who had lent me a few pence in a complicated exchange of money, then claimed I owed him 20p. Chill out man, you'll get your money back! It all got too much for me, so I went upstairs to lay on my old bed and then see

Broken down coach

Thursday, February 9 2012

I was attending a football game, and right at the climax I decided I was going to walk out and meet up with friends on a coach who had broken down on the way to the game.  I had a lot of trouble leaving because I couldn't find the exit and when I got to my friends I was told that a replacement coach had been sent, but we all tried to get the coach off the road where it was blocking traffic in both directions.

Tribute

Wednesday, May 27 2009

I was using Windows on my PC. I went to open a document and found myself in the middle of a huge search to find all the .doc files on my computer. From here I was in the middle of playing a football game. I hardly got a touch of the ball, but the match was notable for an event that happened shortly after the start of the game: all the players and the referee ran to the halfway line en masse and lined up in respect to mark the anniversary of the deaths of spectators at a game many years ago.

Darts and football

Sunday, November 9 2008

There was some kind of live sporting entertainment going on on television, which was throwing darts at a board to miss the target. I was good at it because nothing I threw every went remotely close to the board. I had a good grouping of darts when the scores would have been chalked. Also in this dream was another sporting theme with a goal scored past a keeper, but being shown fom many angles.

Respectful silence at a football game

Saturday, September 30 2006

I was at a football game in which none of the visiting team's supporters cheered when their team scored. I was told that the reason for this was that one the previous time they had played at this ground, a supporter had been killed and it was a mark of respect/defiance not to cheer. A film director was annoyed at this as he wanted noise to go with the film he was making at the time.

Princess Diana/George Michael food dream

Friday, June 2 2006

I was pouring milk or custard (or something odd) on to plate to go with potatoes and gravy. My brother Ian groaned as it was part of a bet and he had to match what I ate. George Michael gave a eulogy and ended by kicking a football down the aisle. Princess Diana was there eating at a table afterwards, and she was saying she had eaten so much she was fit to burst!

Searching for info

Thursday, April 27 2006

I was searching for information on a boy, who attended a football game in 1989. To do this, I had to look through all the matchday programmes at the time. This, despite the fact that the boy had not aged at least 17 years in the time that has elapsed since. I was trying to check this information in a dark room with loud music playing.

Early morning workout

Wednesday, April 26 2006

An old work boss called Keith Telfer was having us working hard at our job. I was watching Spurs 0 Chelsea 4 and everyone had left the ground in disgust after the fourth goal. I was walking alongside the ocean, and a thin but long floating area had lots of people warming up for the morning. There was a strong holiday theme to the dream.

Cheering for the wrong team

Thursday, April 20 2006

I was at a Southampton versus Portsmouth game and I was cheering for the wrong team by mistake. I didn't know what time the coach back for my journey home, but was walking into town afterwards anyway.

Looking for a football in eight boroughs

Monday, October 17 2005

A man was kicking a muddy football along the road because he's doing some kind of walk, and at some point another guy gets annoyed at this and throws the ball far over and wide over a row of houses. The football guy then gets angry though he knows he shouldn't, and pushes the other guy (who has been drinking whiskey) and now has to enlist his friends to find the ball. He bemoans the fact that it will mean looking in up to eight boroughs of London but he has to do it after previously bein
