Au Pair

Sunday, November 23 2008

Sophie and I had an au pair working at a big house that we owned. I had invited her to a party that we were hosting, but had forgot her name. I saw her, and tried to confirm the details but the more I tried to remember her name the more it wouldn't come. This may have been why she totally ignored me for the rest of the dream, and I didn't want to ask her for her name when I should have remembered it.

The security tag in my shoes

Tuesday, November 14 2006

I had bought a new pair of shoes, but when I got home, they still had a circular security tag inside that made them impossible to wear. I took them back to have the tag removed, but had to ask twice because it seemed that they had forgotten that I had asked them. While I waited, I had a lemon-type drink at the desk.

When the script was consulted it was me who was trying to remember why I hadn't got the right lines.

Criticism at work

Wednesday, June 21 2006

I had forgotten how to do something or other at work and probably hadn't been shown in the first place. A member of staff raised their voice at me, so I took the next two days off work as sick, and resolved never to go back again. On one of the days I was at a tube station and saw another member of staff who asked if I was okay as they hadn't seen me at my desk.

The forgotten luggage

Saturday, January 24 2004

I had attached myself to two older ladies staying at a hotel. I was downstairs in the lobby and they had stepped outside to look for a cab. When they flagged one down they waved for me to come out but I forgot their suitcases and the cab drove away. Then, I was getting in a cab with them while a porter looked after their luggage.
