Problem

Thursday, July 5 2012

I was some famous philosopher or other, walking through a walled garden. In my head I was thinking of a problem that I had which I couldn't answer. I looked down and saw a folded envelope which I had left there a while back. Inside was the answer to the question mulling through my head.

Football in my parents' garden

Tuesday, June 5 2012

My home team were playing in my parents' back garden. I was there, buying a magazine from the club shop which only allowed one person in at a time. I got into a complicated purchase of a magazine which prompted people behind me to complain hurry up! The delay was due to a man who had lent me a few pence in a complicated exchange of money, then claimed I owed him 20p. Chill out man, you'll get your money back! It all got too much for me, so I went upstairs to lay on my old bed and then see

The biggest toaster in the world

Sunday, May 6 2012

I was in my parents garden, looking back towards the house. Except for the fact that the house was a lot grander in design and the extra extended kitchen had gone. (Awoke. Made a mental note.) I was showing a woman through a gate at the pub next door. She said thank you. (Awoke, realised I had been dreaming again.) There was a toaster in our bedroom that was the size of a small cupboard. There were two slots at the top that were lit up orange. They must have held the biggest pieces

The dream within a dream

Monday, December 8 2008

In my room I was aware of the sound of a horse close by. I awoke, and became aware of the sound of a horse in the garden. I looked outside, and saw a horse in the garden jumping over fences and running out of the back gate and down the alley. After it had ran out of sight, I awoke to the sound of the morning alarm.

The chewing gum plant?

Friday, September 19 2008

I had French neighbours. I wandered down the garden looking for something or other. I was chewing a piece of gum and wanted to get rid of it, but there were no bins to be seen, so I found a quiet corner of the garden and dropped it there. I think the neighbours saw what I had done, but as it wasn't there garden they probably thought it was one of our strange customs. They might have thought I was planting something.

Kissing Sophie in the garden

Wednesday, October 18 2006

A woman I did not know was leaving Sophie's house with a book under her arm. I had never seen her before, so challenged her to see what she was doing. I asked her if she would mind coming to the garden to see Sophie's parents and if they knew each other then I would apologise. That is exactly what happened, though I didn't feel any embarassment. I went over to where Sophie was sitting on a bench in the garden next to a man who was taking too much interest in her for my liking. I gave her

Fire and snow

Monday, July 24 2006

I had a whole bunch of embers from a fire that I wanted to get rid of. I put them onto an old newspaper and then out onto the fresh snow that had fallen in the garden. Well, the newspaper caught fire, and where it had been laid it was the contributing factor in the collapse of the garden wall. I had a flash of déjà vu when I felt I had gone the exact same thing before.

Emu and the friendly peck

Tuesday, May 2 2006

Emu in our garden which had just had hedges moved and were the main reason why the house would be worth a lot more in value later. The emus pecked at anything that moved, but the peck only seemed to tickle. The garden also appeared to be the location for my workplace, and employees were saying that if I didn't like the new look of the garden then it was my fault because it had been down to me. I had also got out of a bed in the garden, out through the bottom so as not to disturb anyone.

The big pile of debris in the garden

Sunday, February 5 2006

Houses were being demolished behind my home to make way for something even bigger. There was general building work, with bricks and debris in my garden and the house that could be seen from the bedroom window had its foundations in place already.

Mick Jagger/CD vs. LP opinions

Sunday, December 11 2005

I was living at another house with a bigger garden, and much prettier too! above, a big storm gathered and then sparked into life as I went looking downstairs for CD's. I was explaining to a passer by how I used to prefer LP's for their large covers but now think CD's are the way to go for the informative inner sleeves and extra bonus tracks. Mick Jagger was talking to me as I made my way down from netting. It was so difficult and at times I was fully expecting to fall.
