Twice round the track, please!

Wednesday, March 28 2012

I was given the task of having to find the place to hang a painting in a hall that had no more available space. Trouble was, every time I set off with the intention of hanging the painting I forgot what I had to do. Sunday, August 15 2004

I went to a game between Southend Utd and Burnley. After queueing to get in at the turnstiles I paid my entrance fee and realised I was in the away end with the Burnley supporters. We were all in a small hall and I could see the Southend people were sitting at tables and being served food. After a while I came to the conclusion that I was wasting my time where I was, so at half time I walked away, only to be followed by a friend who had also entered the ground at the Burnley end.
