Fighting a teacher

Thursday, October 29 2009

I was trying to get my point across in a discussion with Sophie's family to say that I agreed with them on a family matter. However, I couldn't get them to listen to what I had to say so I walked off in a mood. I came across Australian comedian/actor Paul Hogan who was taking part in a recording of a stunt in which he steals a huge amount of chips and puts them into a mesh netting, cramming them in tightly and then going back for more. I grew tired of this and so wandered off. Then I'm at school

Our ghostly cat

Thursday, October 29 2009

I had a dream about Fanny, a cat of Sophie's who died a month back. I had entered a room in the house and found her, and held on to her for a while as I told her I missed her and that she would never be forgotten. She wasn't what I would call a traditional ghost - not white I mean. In fact she was black and reminded me of the house cat we one had called Gunner.

Born To Run in Google

Thursday, October 22 2009

The dream started quietly as I aquired a fob that would get me into a cricket ground. It was a quite exclusive pass, and a ground staff member came up to me and prepared to show me to my seat. He walked off in front of me and I soon lost him, but was then outside the ground in a Google Live Map. As I moved myself forward down a familiar London street I hear the sounds of Bruce Springsteen's Born To Run. I've never been a fan of the song, but listening to it and looking at my hometown in the drea

The wall

Wednesday, October 21 2009

Sophie and I were standing at a yellow-brick wall. Looking from left to right, it went from high to low. We began at the left, but soon found our way towards the right end which was still at least 6ft tall. I managed to get my leg up and over, then found that the wall was only an inch or so thick and that it was also a lot further down the other side. I decided that I wasn't even going to attempt jumping down the fifteen or so foot drop. Sophie on the other hand  was up for it, and even ref

Walking 5 miles

Tuesday, October 20 2009

I was walking to see a game of football. Not absolutely why when I could have got a mini cab and shared the cost with a friend. I think it was just an excercise thing. At one point Paul Gascoine appeared in the dream, but he wasn't very friendly and I soon left him to get on with whatever he was doing.

Cooking/mean dad

Tuesday, October 20 2009

I was cooking on the stove in the kitchen. It was a question of keeping three saucepans on the boil when trying to come to terms with an argument I had with dad which had me thinking of walking out and not coming back. The pilot light kept flickering out as I thought of the guests that were visiting us. Surely they could see how mean he was being to me?

Wrong bus

Monday, October 19 2009

After waiting for a long time for a bus, I got on one and soon realised it was going the long way to my destination. Never mind. I waited for the next one which was actually a coach going to a holiday destination. I thought it was going to be very comfortable, but when I came to sit down there were double seated steel chairs facing each other and no leg room, making this a most uncomfortable journey.

WTC stairs

Saturday, October 17 2009

I was going down stairs at the Word Trade Centre. There was no rush, and these stairs were of marble, the type you might find in a stately home. Items for sale were stacked on the stairs, which I had to pick my way past carefully. Then I was downstairs on the street. I was walking towards a church/cathedral with three spires with elaborate stained glass windows. I was wondering why I had not seen the building when I visited in 1997

Piano man

Saturday, October 17 2009

I was with Sophie at a concert hall. We had a small part in the proceedings which involved each participant playing a music instrument that they were unfamiliar with. I was going to play the piano  -  to be honest I'm familiar with no instruments  -  but I thought I might get away with playing Chopsticks, I think Sophie was also going to play the piano, but I told no-one of her prowess with the instrument.
