Tearing Through Reality

Thursday, February 12 2009

Vague by now, but impressive while I was having it. From yesterday. This entire dream was roleplayed as if I were an actor in a movie; I was in the company of someone else, probably a boy in his early teens, and I was young too. I feel we were in some kind of story about children discovering a fantasy land and being all awed by it, like The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe or something. A tad bit tacky but whatever. We were in this big squarish room; it might have been slightly more rectangula

The House In The Falls

Tuesday, January 20 2009

Vague. I was in the company of at least my dad, probably also my mother. We seemed to be driving along out in the country, just seeing the sights. It was sunny, probably summer since it was green and warm, and the vehicle seemed to be a convertible since we had clear views of everything (though this isn't necessarily so--I usually have clearer-than-normal views of things out of car windows and such in dreams, like there's nothing around me, so it could have been a normal car--recall my old dream

This must have been part of a bigger dream. It's just a snippet. Dad and I were standing in a doorway in some sort of building which had dim lighting; for some reason it made me think of the door in my paternal grandmother's kitchen which led out to where their old dog used to be, though I don't know why. I guess there was a dropoff before the door--it simply opened up onto this massive, swollen river which was surging past us, dark gray with patches of foam and small hunks of ice swirling alo

Victor Charlie, Hero Of The Anti-Tobacco Movement

Sunday, October 10 2004

I remember only a fragment. I was watching something on TV at night with Dad. They showed a strange waterfall in the jungle--it just looked like little isolated streamlets of water cascading out of this big lumpy wall of green. I looked at it in curiosity. I knew--perhaps because of a narrator?--that this was in Vietnam, and I turned to Dad as if for confirmation. Dad, who fought in Vietnam, nodded. "That's what they look like," he said, referring to Vietnam's waterfalls. I looked back at it in

The Disowned Son

Thursday, December 11 2003

I believe all three of the dreams from this night were either related or were even the same dream, but I'll treat them as different ones. This one seemed to be the most separate of the three, but also the vaguest and hardest to understand. I was in my bedroom and woke up to go to the bathroom. I don't think I was getting up for good so I was not dressed (I sleep nude...sorry o_o ). It was dim in my room, bluish, so it must have been daylight outside. I went to my door and opened it a crack but r
