On So Many Levels

Tuesday, October 18 2005

I was going to get my teeth cleaned, apparently. I think there was more to the beginning of this but I forget. The dentist was in this strange building...all sorts of stairs and levels, going around and around at 90-degree angles. Just all over. All in wood, light golden grain. Lots of people, especially well-dressed women (like businesswomen), around too. I guess I walked around and around and up and up all these stairs and over landings and levels. Hard to describe. Lots of these people were

Moonlight, Moon Bright

Tuesday, October 11 2005

From my nap. It was nighttime, maybe around eleven or midnight, and Ma was using the computer as I kind of wandered in the living room. I don't know all that I was doing but I was much more awake than usual at that time of night! (I often nap then.) I went out to talk to Ma and stood near the chair as she did whatever on the computer...I can't remember if she was playing solitaire or doing some scrapbooking. In any case, as I talked I looked up at the blinds beside the computer and saw that...

The Store On The Shore

Tuesday, October 11 2005

A very, very vague dream which I only take note of belatedly as it featured Mackinac Island. It's from yesterday and I took no immediate notes so this is very hazy. :/ I know that Ma and I were going to the island and then I think we were on it. Ma was more enthusiastic than she usually is, because in real life she can't stand the island; in the dream it's like we were both in on it together. We seemed to end up in a small store that sold postcards and trinkets and junk to tourists--wooden flo

Jessica Simpson, Or Me...Tough Choice

Sunday, October 9 2005

Very vague. There was some beginning, kind of unrelated part with me being in an area or a room, like a den (similar to my Grandma H.'s living room somehow), with a lot of other people, kind of noisy and chaotic, something to do with my story True Believers or with alien abduction. Then I ended up in another room which would have been in Grandma's front yard. Lighter in here, but still messy and chaotic; I wasn't nervous but for this one guy who insisted on pestering me. He was an older guy, m

One Tea, Two Tea, No Tea!

Sunday, October 9 2005

Vague. I was in the living room and I set down a fresh cup of cold tea on the footstool and settled myself contentedly on the couch. It was daytime, light, and Ma and Dad were both home. Before I could even take a drink, Ma walked by, and accidentally knocked over my cup; my tea spilled all over the rug. :( I mopped it up as best as I could, saddened, and went to get another cup of tea. When I poured it there was approximately one serving left in the pitcher. I brought my fresh cup back into t

The Jesuit Relations

Wednesday, October 5 2005

Vague. I was in some sort of medium-sized storage or rec-type room, maybe for art or something; a bit dim like some of the lights toward the back were off. Cluttered. There was a table or something with drawers in it and I pulled one out and saw lots of smallish white-covered books inside. Stiff paperbacks, rather generic looking. They were copies of the Jesuit Relations, one volume for each year, though they were quite small (in terms of pages). I pulled one or two out to browse them

City In The Distance

Wednesday, October 5 2005

Very vague. I was with Ma and we were driving. Wide sky, bright and sunny, not a single cloud; maybe lots of highways or freeways. Everything seemed wide open like prairies. I spotted two cities in the distance I think, one nearby and one immensely far away; it had tall towering buildings, including at least one distinctive one with a sort of wedge-shaped top. I stared at the gleaming buildings in awe. Was it Detroit? I asked Ma if it was and she said yes. I found it impossible to believe that
