Former Chief Inspector Dreyfus as The Raven

Lucid Intent

I am in Mondeschein Castle where Dreyfus is trying to make the whole world disappear with his

Doomsday Machine, and he has already made the United Nations building disappear.  No one

notices I am there.  It is like I am watching it on TV, but the situations have changed from the

movie, The Pink Panther Strikes Again.

He is sitting on his throne.  A flash of white light (similar to a "Q flash"), and a black bird

appears in his hands.  Clouseau and the rest of the people in the room, including me, gasp when

we see it.  When had Dreyfus acquired magic powers?!  He asks Clouseau, who is detained and

still wearing his Dr.  Shurtz disguise, "What is this?!" and Clouseau says, "It looks like a black

'beurd' to me.  A raven."

Before anything else can be done or said,  Dreyfus disappears in the same flash of white light

and turns into the bird, hopping around on the table, picking at leftover food, then flying around

the room.

He flies over to the open window and says, "See you later suckers!  Catch me if you can!"  Then

flies away, laughing.

Everyone is outside by this time, standing on a hilltop, watching him soar over trees and

mountains.  Right in my ear, I hear him say, "Quoth the raven, nevermore!"  That wakes me up

and I try to go back to sleep to "finish" the dream, to see what happens to everyone, but it

doesn't work.

Additional Comments:

I was watching The Pink Panther Strikes Again before I went to bed that night. I listened to my Dick Sutphen Alpha/theta wave cd while I slept. I felt sad just after I woke up. At first, I thought it was Herbert Lom trying to tell me that he had "crossed over" (he died on 9-17-2012, at the age of 95!) and I wouldn't be seeing him in my dreams anymore, and I looked forward our "meetings". I had one just after that, though. Maybe the alpha/theta waves had something to do with it. I was able to do that when I was a kid, too, having dreams about what I watched on TV before going to bed.
