I walk amongst the ruins of an old mansion with Sam and Dean. We look over three Men of Letter devices that we find on a desk at the top of a flight of large, fancy stairs. One of the devices uses water, another uses electricity, and the last- which I’m currently standing in front of- is metal. It supposedly lights up when energy is nearby, as a way to communicate with ghosts.
It starts to rain. Most of the roof is gone, leaving a big, gaping hole open to the sky. The rain falls inside unobstructed. The rain water that collects on every surface connects the three machines. The electricity from the second machine fans out to the other two- including the one I’m messing with. I get electrocuted and collapse.
Sam catches me, and guides us both to the ground. “I’ve got you, brother,” he says to me soothingly, and that is the last thing I remember before blacking out completely.
When I come back to, I find myself firmly cuddled against his chest. My face is pressed up against the greyhound picture on his purple shirt. I mumble something along the lines of, “I can’t believe this is the first thing I’m seeing when I wake up.”
Sam laughs and gently makes to stand. I don’t really want to stop holding and cuddling him, but reluctantly let him stand us up.
We go to the kitchen some time later and make food. I get dizzy, as expected since I just got electrocuted not long ago, but it’s not serious enough to warrant being held by Sam again. I sit down on the ground and lean against he cabinets to regain my composure. Sam’s worried about me. [End]
