I was in my grandmother’s old house. I walk in the door and something doesn't feel right. There is a strong energy there. It almost feels like it is blocking the doorways. I'm in the kitchen and I look over at the wall and I see the hanging calendar spinning. I look over into the dark office area and I see a flash of a man wearing a suit. He disappears almost instantly. The only thing that is coming to mind is Poltergeist. Especially with things moving and the strong energy. I am starting to feel scared and overwhelmed. I try using my energy to seal off the doorways so it can't get in. It almost feels like it is pushing me back. It is strong. I start to repeat "Our Father". That seemed to work for a quick second. I'm now sitting at a table. There is another woman there. Her name is Colleen. I am grabbing onto her wrist in order to pull some energy together so we can defeat this thing. All of a sudden the lights in the chandelier are getting brighter and start giving off heat. I don't get up but I start to blow on them as if I was blowing out a candle on a birthday cake. This actually works and cools them down. I must have some sort of powers or something. By this time the malevolent energy has subsided.
Now all of a sudden I see a guy out front running around with an axe. I quickly run to lock the doors because he is looking for a way in. He is coming to kill us all. Now there are 2 guys. They find a way in. At this point Colleen’s phone is ringing and she isn’t answering it. I tell her to so the noise doesn’t give away our position. She said but it’s a wrong number. So I grab the phone and I answer it. It’s my Uncle Dave on the other end. He says Luce (short for Lucy.. nickname) it’s the guy from across the street. I guess he was telling me that one of the guys use to be my neighbor. All of a sudden I am face to face with both axe murderers. They don’t seem to want to kill us right away. The one runs down the hall and almost out of sight. The second guy, who looks like David Hasselhoff by the way, is leaning against the wall and seems like he is trying to catch his breath. He starts talking about how he wants pie before he kills me. I reach into my pocket and slowly take out my phone. The phone is a really old model and barely charged. I dial 911. When they answer I say I need a recipe for a pie. They ask me if I am alone and I say no of course. They realize that I have to talk in code so the axe guy doesn’t suspect anything. I am just hoping I can stay on the phone long enough so they can trace my call. He isn’t really paying attention at this point. I say to the operator that the recipe needs to feed 2 large men which also indicates there are 2 holding me hostage. I get ready to hang up but I keep the phone on so they can listen and trace the call at the same time. By this time the axe guy seems distracted but I still feel terrified. My heart is racing. It’s at this time I realize that I’m dreaming. I’m still scared because I’m not sure if I can wake up. I slowly wake up. When awake in my waking life my heart really is racing and I still have that fear.

I am in my friends church. We are getting ready to do a paranormal investigation. I am all alone at first. I am in the main part. I hear something. My heart is beating faster and I have an overwhelming feeling of being scared. All of a sudden my friends come around the corner. We start to get ready for the investigation. I bring out my equipment and start to explain it to my friend Jen. There are 2 other people there. One is my other friend Traci but I don't know who the third was.
Additional Comments:
I believe there is some meaning in this dream but I know I mostly had it because we really are doing an investigaiton at my friends church. I had just found out yesterday. But me being there alone and scared...which is unlike me.... is the part I'm most curious about. I also had this dream in between alarms. That is why the time is short.

There was a killer coming to my house. I called the cops. They were "on their way" I was looking for weapons. I called my dad to ask him what I could use. I was in a rush. He wanted to chat but I couldn't talk. I locked the doors. The killer shows up. They pull up in a truck. They parked right past the the front of the lawn. It looked like a work van and it had a lion on it. I was telling the cops all this information. All of a sudden the killer is my mom. She has a white sweatshirt on. I have my chef's knife in my hand. I know it's my knife because it still has blue tape on it. I stabbed her. I didn't want to because it was my mom. I was so upset. I only used the tip of my knife. There was blood on the knife. I slouched down with my back to the front door, sobbing. I had stabbed my mom. I was balling my eyes out. The my mom is next me. It wasn't her. I didn't kill her. She was consoling me.

My partner had woken me up briefly to tell me that she was going walking and that she was bringing her knife.
