This dream has been viewed 10087 times.Something about ancient Egypt and a pyramid. I can't remember too much of this part of the night's dreams. At the end of it, though, I had a piece of parchment paper in my hands that had some kind of magical writing on it. "Please, still be in my hands when I wake up!" I wished out loud. I woke up, and my hands were folded across my chest...without the paper!
I got up, ate breakfast and went back to sleep.
I seemed to be living back in S__. The house I used to live in there looked different, though. But I didn't seem to notice. What I did notice was that a lot of snow had fallen...at least four feet...and Dad and I needed to get my car out of the driveway to go to the store. We got in and I tried just backing up out of the driveway, for there didn't seem to be as much snow on it.
It's funny I dreamed this, for right as I went to bed I read about the severe winter storm that's headed this way. As I write this, it's just beginning. I think I dreamed about it because it was on my mind.
Anyway, out in the street we drove past snowplows going the other way down it. When I got up to the main road, Dad had somehow disappeared from the dream and I was now by myself. I drove right into the shopping area of a department store, as if it was connected right to the road. I stopped, though, because I was worried my car wouldn't fit in the aisles.
I found myself back at the house. There was a short man there now with my dad, and we all stood around talking. While there was still a lot of snow everywhere else, it was spring in my front yard...yellow gladiolas were blooming and the grass was green.
I think that may have been the thing that clued me in to it being a dream. "This is a dream!" I said to my father and the man. "Everything we see around us isn't real. We are the only real things here."
The man grew very fearful at what I had told him. It seemed I had upset his concept of what reality was. As he looked at me with a scared expression, I noticed that the resolution of him wasn't that high. I could see the little block-shaped pixels that his appearance was composed of.
The whole area had somehow turned into the inside of a large warehouse. I took a little jump and flew up into the air. I zoomed up toward the ceiling next to a wall that was on the opposite side from the wall that had windows in it.
But the dream was beginning to fall apart. Every time I finally got near the ceiling, I would suddenly find myself only about 3/4 of the way up it. Over and over this happened. Eventually I grew tired of it, and directed my gaze down at the floor. THIS caused me to zoom downwards, and then right through the floor as if it was made of air. I kept plunging downwards at a very high speed, right through many stories underground.
I woke up.
