Lucid Intent? No

I was having dinner with my family at my grandmothers house. There was something going around the news about a Sushi Killer, who was using people for sushi. The Sushi Killer was the inspiration for the Gaico commercial regarding sushi. There is some confusion about this. Apparently Gaico workers were coming to to peoples homes to make them sushi as part of their advertising pitch. The Sushi Killer had taken it upon himself to pretend to be a Gaico worker, and slip into people's houses with ease.
I was in the washroom with a taller man. At this point, I didn't recognize him. He handed me a plate of sushi, and I was relieved that he wasn't the sushi killer. A menacing smile stretched across his face as he backed me into the corner of the room. He proceeded to start cutting chunks out of my arm.
At some point, I escaped, wounded and bleeding. I ran down the hallway to the other side of my Grandmother's house, screaming for everybody to wake up. I heard a rolling, ticking noise, like from a worn out cassette player, as I yelled. Then noise was blaring in my ears.
Scared, and helpless, I ran to the front door. I could hear the man approaching. I quickly but quietly opened the front door and slipped outside. Something was telling me he only wanted me.
In the driveway, was my mother's car, a station wagon, assumed to belong to my cousin, and my grandmother's car. My grandmother's car, however, only appeared in when scenes were looking towards the house.
My mom's car was unlocked, to my relief, and I frantically got in, shutting the door behind me. The door on the driver's side was wide open, and as I was closing that, I was worried that the car's battery might be dead, and I would be scolded for it. I made sure all the doors were locked, noticing my cat in the back seat, and crouched down low in the leg room. I was too afraid of asking the neighbors for help, afraid the man would kill me if I tried.
I watched as the man went through the house, turning lights on as he did so. When he proceeded to my grandmother's office, I felt as if this was my chance. I opened the door, and started to creep out of the car. My mom's dog was barking at me, so I let her in the car, and closed the door back up. I knew the barking would have alerted the man to my whereabouts, and went back into hiding.
I felt the car start to move, realizing the dog mush have turned off the break when she got in the car. The break was still on, so I climbed into the driver's seat to try and fix the car. Nothing I did was working, I only made it worse. I pressed the gas, and broke the emergency break.
The man came out of the house as I finally found the break petal. He was carrying a sack and a large blue glass bottle, with carvings in it. It was some sort of alcohol. I released the break and tried to run over the man, the car stalling and sputtering. I stopped the car before I hit the station wagon, the neighbors had come out of the house and began to make fun of me from my bad driving. Somehow in the commotion, the man stole my grandmother's car and got away.
I tried to move my mom's car back to where she left it so I wouldn't get in trouble, the neighbors still mocking me. I released the break, and the car began to move backward, and instantly pressed back on the petal; the neighbor's laughs blaring in my ears. I realized the parking break was off, and pulled it tight.
At some point, the police showed up at the house. I went inside to try and wake everyone up again. This time, it worked, and they seemed worried. I told them it was an emergency and we all need to get outside. My mom thought we were going to raid a dungeon. I told her no, we need to talk to the police. Nobody seemed to notice I was bleeding.
My grandmother handed me my daughter and I held her tight, saying how much I missed her. My daughter was younger and smaller then she really is, maybe about 1 in the dream. My grandmother tried to take my daughter back, and I refused, hugging the baby tighter.
Outside, I told the police everything, and then went back inside. My mom and grandma were shocked that I couldn't wake them up. They were listening to the sleep tapes they had, and found where I was yelling. I listened to it, and again it had the rolling, ticking noise. I realized the noise was me being recorded.
I called my boyfriend, Josh, about the ordeal. He kept changing the subject and talking about his friends. I went in the garage and tired to see what was taken. There was a box with my name on it, ripped open. In it were a bunch of things that I had previously lost in a fire in real life. Some of it looked like it had been damaged by hand. Josh continued to try and change the subject, and he was starting to sound uneasy as I continued to pester him into supporting me.
Finally, Josh confessed, he was my attacker. I went back to the bathroom crying, and I looked in the mirror at my wounds. I was cut from ear to ear, the down my neck. It was deep, but only skin deep, and I was not in danger of my skin peeling from my muscles. Josh we trying to apologize through this, but I just couldn't understand why he would hurt me. I hung up on him eventually, crying, and cleaned the blood from my wounds.
When I left the bathroom, it lead to my mother's living room. She had just gotten off the phone with the police, and they had found the car and had suspected Josh's dad. I asked my mother if they found the guy, and she said she didn't know. I could tell she was lying, and, getting frustrated, told her I have a right to know. She started crying. I told her whatever, Josh already told me he did it anyways.
My mom cried more and asked me what my boyfriend has against her.
I told her, it had noting to do with her, reminding her I was the one he attacked.
I went to the fridge and leaned against the shelves, looking at food, but not wanting to eat anything. I started crying. I asked my mom if this was real.
She said it's hard, but yes it's real. She didn't want to believe it either, but it was.
I started to cry harder as she told me, wondering why this was happening to me. At that moment, my eyes shot open, my body saving me from my mind.
