I was at a party and I was trying to call Jeff. In dreams, I can never dial numbers on my phone or type on the computer. I keep messing up over and over and I can't ever get it right. This was happening again, but this time I remembered that this might be a dream, or at least that this problem was not going to go away. So I handed the phone to someone else at the party in my dream, and asked them to contact Jeff. They did it for me, and I was able to talk to him in the dream and get him to come get me. I remember feeling aware that I had cheated some rule of this world that I was in, because it had almost never worked out in the past that I've been able to type the letters or numbers I need for communication.

    Dancing for Jeff

Jeff and I were parked on the side of an empty road, enjoying each other's company. There was a field next to the road, and the sky was clear with a full moon. Jeff turned on Austra and we climbed on the roof of his car to listen to it. Then I got off of the car and stepped into the field because I felt like dancing for Jeff, and just because I felt like dancing in general. Down there in the grass, I invented a new form of dance that no one had ever thought of before. I spread my fingers out facing the full moon, and moon beams shone through them like dim spotlights. I moved my hands all around me keeping my fingers spread, but my fingertips close together, and it caused the moonbeams to dance with me, as though I were controlling a dim sort of disco ball. When I woke up, Jeff and I were trying to come up with a name for dancing with moonbeams.

    Why the Fake ID?

Date of dream: Tuesday, June 05, 2012

Jeff and I were out drinking at a bar. We drank a lot, especially me. For some reason we didn't have to show our IDs until it was time to pay for all the drinks. Jeff pulled out his ID, and it wasn't his, but his friend Justin's. He was trying to pass himself off as this friend and use his ID. Jeff is 28, and doesn't even remotely look like Justin. I thought, what the hell?

The guy behind the counter was almost cartoonishly large, loud and Italian, and started threatening to kick us out because he could tell the ID was fake. I started calling Jeff "Justin" and insisted it was just a bad photo to stick up for him, even though I was still very confused. It didn't work though, so I offered up my own ID and argued with the guy that we were obviously both of age, although we both actually look pretty young.

I don't remember anything about the dream after arguing with the guy for a really long time.

    Additional Comments:

The bartender did remind me a lot of the Italian guy in The Lady and the Tramp, which I did watch recently.
