Jeff and I were parked on the side of an empty road, enjoying each other's company. There was a field next to the road, and the sky was clear with a full moon. Jeff turned on Austra and we climbed on the roof of his car to listen to it. Then I got off of the car and stepped into the field because I felt like dancing for Jeff, and just because I felt like dancing in general. Down there in the grass, I invented a new form of dance that no one had ever thought of before. I spread my fingers out facing the full moon, and moon beams shone through them like dim spotlights. I moved my hands all around me keeping my fingers spread, but my fingertips close together, and it caused the moonbeams to dance with me, as though I were controlling a dim sort of disco ball. When I woke up, Jeff and I were trying to come up with a name for dancing with moonbeams.

    Why the Fake ID?

Jeff and I were out drinking at a bar. We drank a lot, especially me. For some reason we didn't have to show our IDs until it was time to pay for all the drinks. Jeff pulled out his ID, and it wasn't his, but his friend Justin's. He was trying to pass himself off as this friend and use his ID. Jeff is 28, and doesn't even remotely look like Justin. I thought, what the hell?

The guy behind the counter was almost cartoonishly large, loud and Italian, and started threatening to kick us out because he could tell the ID was fake. I started calling Jeff "Justin" and insisted it was just a bad photo to stick up for him, even though I was still very confused. It didn't work though, so I offered up my own ID and argued with the guy that we were obviously both of age, although we both actually look pretty young.

I don't remember anything about the dream after arguing with the guy for a really long time.

    Additional Comments:

The bartender did remind me a lot of the Italian guy in The Lady and the Tramp, which I did watch recently.

Ice Cream Knife, Cell Phone Virus, Cobweb Sweat

Date of dream: Monday, April 16, 2012

I was walking along "the hill" on UT campus, where a lot of people were dressed up strangely and colorfully. One of them suddenly came after me with what looked like a huge white knife. I screamed and yelled at others around to do something about it, but then he stabbed at me with it and it turned out this knife was made of ice cream. The others, apparently in on it, laughed and I thought it wasn't funny at all.

I got out away from them and found some of my friends, who were dressed normally. We started walking through a side neighborhood near campus, which doesn't exist in reality. Its sidewalks went steeply downhill with a few rises and falls. I pulled out a large skateboard to show my friends a trick. I sat down on it indian style, and rode down the sidewalk, becoming airborne at the tops of little hills, and managing to land straight by pulling up on the front of the board with my hands. I did this until I crashed into a door on a building across the street. My friends thought this was impressive and a little ridiculous.

We ended up getting pulled into a department store where the sales people were trying to get us to dress up strangely like the other people on campus, for some sort of Halloween or general costume competition. We ended up shopping there, but when I tried to text Jeff to let him know where I was, I found out they had put some sort of virusy program into my phone that made it impossible to use it except as a catalogue and contact list for their store. I made them fix it, but after I left it went back to being a zombie phone for their dumb business.

The longer the night went on, the more I got upset about not being able to contact anyone. I was wearing ridiculous clothes and drinking too much, and at some point in the night my friends passed out around me outside underneath a big umbrella on campus somewhere amidst all the random festivities. I was lying on the ground awake, and I noticed that my palms were sweating. The sweat had a sticky consistency, and when I put my hands together and pulled them apart, the sweat stretched out into some sort of thin cobweb material. I kept waking my friends up to show them my new web making ability, but then they'd just fall back asleep, and then bugs would get caught in the cobweb, and i couldn't get it or the bugs off my hands. The last thing I remember is really wanting to be able to use my phone and wash my hands.

    Additional Comments:

I watched a caterpillar making a cocoon yesterday, which could account for the web part of the dream. The rest of it is very random. I've been out of college a while, and haven't been shopping in forever.
