Horrible dream last night. I was on the driveway of this gigantic house, which was my parents' house in the dream. They came home and both had watches with a ball of ice cream where the face would be. My dad threw his over the fence. (He's diabetic and has heart/cholesterol problems.) My mom tried to do the same but it fell and landed on the pavement about a foot from my dad. He went around the fence where there was a lake and started digging into the bank, which was made of wet concrete. I walked over and asked what he was digging. "My own grave," he answered. I was afraid of how he'd react if I asked him why or told him to stop, so instead I asked, "You want to be buried here?" He stopped and we walked back to the house, and he put on this fake smile and started talking about work instead.

Later in the dream, I was in what looked like the gameroom of the Texas house, upstairs. I'd just finished my English/chemistry exam. I walked into the guest bathroom and went to take the watch my dad had thrown away out of the trash can, to have somethingby which to remember him. I remembered it being made of metal, but when I picked it up, it was made of chocolate-covered ice- cream cone and began to melt on my fingers. I threw it away.

I had some fucking weird dreams last night. In one scene I was living on campus, it was night, there'd been a law passed that everyone had to be vegan or vegetarian, and I was starting a new diet of only water and air. In another scene I had to give myself an enema for the medical school final. The nozzle turned into a needle and I ended up giving myself a shot instead. In another scene, I was with my family and this zombie attacked Jonathan but we fought it off.

in one scene, i'm sitting on my parents' bed talking to them, television on, mom's just given me $ for my birthday, everything's exactly how it was last night, but then Dad sits up and hugs me and i know something's wrong b/c we're not the hugging type, we don't touch or even acknowledge the fact that we're father and son, and it's getting tighter and i can't breathe and i know "he's" trying to kill me (and that it's not really my dad) and there's this painful electric current.

in another, i'm on this pro-ana website and we're talking and i'm finding out some of them were at the first hospital when i was there, same ward, same time. as i read these posts i can remember seeing them (though we didn't know each other at the time). these are false memories because i can't remember much from it, but i do remember the people.

next scene, i'm setting up for this big joint birthday/wedding event. there are four rows of chairs but we know we're gonna need a lot more. i go to a stack of chairs in the corner and see that only the top of the stack is there. these chairs are hanging in the air but no chairs are stacked beneath. i wave my hand beneath them to see if they're there but i just don't see them, and this girl comes up and does the same and comments on it and i'm relieved that she sees it, too, meaning that it's not just my imagination or my eyes playing tricks. the guests fill the seats and soon there's smoke coming from the front of the room. people start pouring out the door and i turn to go with them but i notice the people closer to the smoke don't seem to notice the room is on fire, so i stay to make sure everyone else gets out, too.
